Located just 110km east of Thessaloniki, on the road to Kavala, this picturesque village is nestled at the foot of Mount Kerdyllio, and is close to the majestic river Strymonas.  
With a population of just 600, the village is known for its warm hospitality and simple way of life. During your stay, be sure to explore the area's many attractions, including the impressive "Amphipolis Lion," (10km) a 4th-century monument that is a trademark of Serres city and a symbol of Macedonian heritage. Other nearby attractions include the golden Ofryniou beach(21km), Karianis(22km), and Sikias(22km).  
Back in the village, take a leisurely stroll to the local supermarket(300m), restaurants, bakery, pharmacy, and cafes, where you can indulge in the famous "Bougatsa" pastry, a local delicacy that's not to be missed.
