There are dozens of restaurants in the area and other things to do if the beach is not on your agenda. There is enough parking for two vehicles and with approval can accommodate more. There is high speed internet and Streaming platforms already hooked up to the TV, no cable. The private backyard has nice lighting so you can enjoy the late night activities outside after a long day. Like a 10 minute drive. While small, its nice having a full size refrigerator, oven, and small kitchen which you wouldn't get with a hotel room. The one drawback is a lack of outlets in the bedroom by the bed. If you use a CPAP machine like I do, and then two people wish to charge their phones overnight by the bed, bring a small powerstrip for extended outlets. Also, the outlets behind the dresser in the bedroom and the outlet in the living room area (on the same wall) did not work. There are outlets of course in the kitchen area. Outside of this, I would definitely stay here again. Also, don't concern yourself being near the naval air base - they don't fly their jets early in the morning or late at night. If they did, we didn't hear them. It was a perfect size for just myself, my husband and our little dog. It was centrally located and just minutes from just about everything.
