The rental is in the heart of Virginia Beach. An easy 3 block or 5-minute walk to the beach and boardwalk, the townhouse is a great option for easy access to local attractions and nightlife at the Oceanfront. This 2 story, 2 bedroom townhouse sleeps 4 people comfortably. With 2.5 bathrooms, high-end furnishings, 10-foot ceilings, an attached single-car, private parking garage, additional free on-site parking, ceiling fans in each room, 60 inch flat screen TV in the Living Room, washer, dryer, stainless steel appliances, working kitchen and granite counters, pantry storage, 2 large walk-in closets, upstairs porch with rocking chairs, streaming device and free WiFi, our house is comfortable and functional. Downstairs features a powder room, kitchen, living area and small eating nook as well as kitchen counter stools. Upstairs features the laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer, laundry detergent provided, two queen bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom. The primary bedroom facing the courtyard has a private balcony with rocking chairs. We provide two bath towel sets per bedroom (more available upon request for a linen rental fee). This set contains a washcloth, hand towel and bath towel. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soaps and other essential cleaning supplies as well. Guests are responsible for replenishing their supplies as needed. There is a standard coffee maker in each home and the kitchens are equipped with essentials for cooking and preparing meals. Our homes are in the heart of the Virginia Beach resort area and walking distance to the best restaurants, nightlife, and live entertainment. The Virginia Beach Convention Center, Sports Center, Virginia Museum of Contemporary Arts Center (MOCA) and the developing Atlantic Park (the 18th Street wave park and concert venue scheduled for completion in 2025) are within walking distance as well. In addition, there are golf courses, putt-putt golf, water sports, water parks, the Aquarium, concert venues, grocery stores, parks for children, coffee shops, bars and other entertainment activities nearby within walking or driving distance. Some Important Points: If you have booked a stay longer than 2 weeks, you will be responsible for providing your own bed sheets and bath towels as our linen rental company cannot cover this duration of time. We do offer rentals for longer reservations, however the cost for linen rentals increases and we are happy to provide that information. For all short-term rentals, we will provide your bed sheets and bath towels. Please pay the pet fee if you are traveling with your four-legged family members. The fee is $100\. There is an attached, single-car parking garage perfect for compact cars and mid-size SUVs. There is an additional parking pad behind the houses alongside the fence. These four spaces are first come first serve. With your check-in details, we provide information on the municipal parking garages around the neighborhood available for overnight parking should you have an additional car. You cannot park on 22nd Street overnight or you will receive a ticket from the city. No early check-in or late check-out during peak summer season (May through September). Unless essential, please plan to adhere to the 4 PM check-in and 10:30 AM check-out. There are no grills onsite. However, you are welcome to bring one or you may purchase one from the local hardware store a couple blocks North. Nous avons bien aimé l’endroit et la disponibilité du stationnement. L’établissement est situé à environ 10 min de marche de la plage. Il serait bien de nettoyer les tapis au deuxième étage car ils ont besoin d’un bon nettoyage. Mais mis à part les tapis le reste étaient très propre et je recommande cet endroit. The kitchen was adequately equipped for basic cooking. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was good in the showers. The garage is very narrow and getting a full-sized car in was a challenge, so we mostly parked on the parking pad across the alley. With two standard height chairs and two bar height chairs in the house, we could not really eat meals together as a family of three. So close to the beach me restaurants we didn’t need our car. We had all the amenities listed and required. Loved that the bedrooms were upstairs so the adults could stay up later than the kids. We found the unit adequately equipped, furnished, and clean. We were close enough to walk to a few places we wanted to see. A grocery store was nearby. Kudos to Thomas Hoey the Maintenance manager. He discovered a small issue with the A/C before we arrived. He called me before we checked in and had it fixed as we arrived. He told me to call him at any time of day to report any issue. It’s hard to keep teenage kids entertained without game systems/TVs. The unit has only one TV and none in the bedrooms. Small issue with internet, but was quickly resolved by resetting. The parking is tricky (hard to locate) and the garage is very small. Bed linens/towels should be upgraded for nigthly rate range being charged. Upstairs tended to get warm and we had to open the windows. New carpet for the upstairs. ##### cedric s. The items we were a bit unhappy about was the GPS took us to a completely separate location, and we got lost which took about 20 minutes to figure out. When we finally got to the place, we had to figure out that the back door was actually the right entrance to go into. The code didnt work for the door on the garage side. The remote controls for the TV in the living room did not work. We got there and the batteries for the remotes were loose. I installed them but the remote that controlled the TV was sticky and did not work. Outside of those few hiccups, we were generally satisfied. ##### Jeff S.
