The property fit our needs nicely. It was close to downtown Vineyard Haven so we could walk to restaurants, shopping, and attractions easily. We were there for 10 days over the 4th of July. Would love the owners to buy a bbq ! Also a higher quality bed in the main bedroom would really enhance the stay. The main tv remote “exploded” (battery acid filling the compartment ) and it took multiple calls- including with 2 supervisors - over two days to get a new remote. The person who finally brought it didn’t know how to work it- my husband googled the remote brand and HE got it to sync with the tv. The tv in the main bedroom did not work - they couldn’t fix it before we left- the person who finally came said “oh I just brought a new remote for the bedroom last week”?? This is the second time we’ve rented a vrbo managed by Vacasa- we had similar issues at that property with Vacasa- we will never rent a property they manage again. We were paying about $800/ night -all in- at this property and deserved a rapid competent response to this issue- it was frustrating and annoying ! Not how you should feel on vacation ! We urge the owners of this charming property to get a new property manager! ##### Joyce B.
