On The Beach is a stylish, comfortable, and beautifully renovated beach house with fantastic views of Jervis Bay from a large front deck. The main house sleeps six and a spacious, self contained annexe also sleeps 6.  
  
 Please note:   
  
\- Strictly no parties at this property – please. You will be evicted if this rule is broken.  
  
 Summer Season 26/27 (18 December to 21 January)   
  
7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:  
  
\- Arrive: Sunday 20 Dec | Depart: Sunday 27 Dec  
\- Arrive: Monday 28 Dec | Depart: Monday 4 Jan  
\- Arrive: Tuesday 5 Jan | Depart: Tuesday 12 Jan  
  
For the rest of Summer Season, a 3 night minimum applies.  
  
 Where will I be?   
  
On The Beach is very centrally located in Vincentia, with direct access from the front gate to Collingwood Beach. The local shops are an easy walk from the house - only 500 metres. This strip at Vincentia is north east facing, so all houses have a great sun aspect and some of the best views of Jervis Bay. Huskisson, Hyams Beach and Booderee National Park are all an easy drive away.  
  
 Why choose On The Beach?   
  
On The Beach preserves a somewhat classic beach house feel. Experience single storey living, lovely settings, good gardens includinga lawned area, beautiful water views plus stylish interiors and decor. You will relax as soon as you step inside!  
  
 How is the property laid out?   
  
The main house is a single storey design and opens onto a lovely deck with fantastic views of Jervis Bay. There is a large open plan area that takes in the kitchen, dining and a comfy TV lounge. Three bedrooms connect to the living area via a hallway - the master bedroom with water views and a queen bed, a second queen bedroom, and a third kids' room with bunk beds. All bedrooms share a common bathroom with shower and bath, and there is a separate toilet.   
  
The detached annexe has a very large living area with 2 bunk beds and a fourth bedroom with a queen bed, a small kitchenette, a shower and toilet, and a connected internal laundry. The configuration of the annexe allows the kids to enjoy the bunk beds and living area, whilst Mum and Dad can have their own space in the separate bedroom.  
  
 Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?   
  
This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house Wi-Fi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.  
  
 What about outdoors?   
  
The house offers alfresco dining on a large entertaining deck overlooking Jervis Bay - with On the Beach having some of the best water views in Vincentia! The garden is of a good size as well, perfect for the kids, and runs down to a front gate that has direct access to the beach.  
  
 Staying warm or keeping cool?   
  
On the Beach is equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the living room - perfect for keeping the main house warm in cooler months, or cool in summer. In addition, the house can be opened up to catch any available sea breeze. The Annexe has a reverse cycle air conditioning unit in the bedroom and a moveable oil heater for the room that has the bunk beds.  
  
 What about sheets, towels and other supplies?   
  
Linen is provided at On the Beach. Please however remember to bring your beach towels!  
  
 Parking for cars, boats etc?   
  
Parking is off-street on the driveway, with room for up to 3 cars.  
  
 Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?   
  
On The Beach is a pet friendly home! Please bring a bed for your pet, and do not allow them on the beds or furniture. Please also clean up after your pet, and note the property is fenced though we recommend to watch your pet to ensure they are safe.  
  
 What are the minimum stay rules?   
  
\- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property  
\- Easter: 4 nights  
\- Long Weekends: 3 nights  
\- All other times: 2 nights  
  
 Are there any special Summer Season rules?   
  
Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

#### Family getaway

My husband and I, our daughters, their partners and our granddaughter stayed at On the Beach in Vincentia to celebrate 2 birthdays and Father’s Day. We couldn’t have picked a better location or weekend! We’ve stayed many times in the area over the years so we knew the house was in a fantastic location and each day we woke to a spectacular sunrise over the bay. The house itself was spacious and styled really well, everyone said the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had more than enough crockery, cutlery and cookwear to last us through a long weekend. Despite it being quite a windy weekend, the water in the bay was flat and since it was unseasonably warm there were quite a few swims followed by hanging out on the back deck watching the world jog by on the walking path below. My husband and I stayed in the separate studio and sure, the bathroom, kitchen etc. might be a bit dated but it all adds to the overall charm of the property, and really, the most important things are that the beds are great, the showers strong and the company is good. The only negative was that the dusty Venetian blinds and spider webby windows in the bedrooms were in stark contrast to the presentation in the rest of the house but it’s not like we were inconvenienced by this, just thought I should point it out.

Cottage needs some work, especially the kitchen and bathroom, handle on toilet door broke and had to be left off , dirty linen and towels left in cottage and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Plenty of cutlery etc in kitchen of main house but cupboards smell very musty. Also work in the kitchen around the sink would be good. Great for a few days but don't know if I would stay longer, the best thing was the location 5 minutes from shops and straight down to the beach and fantastic view from back deck.

We ended up having an intimate family wedding on the deck with a stunning backdrop, due to a storm changing our original plans of Botanical Gardens. Perfect location. The only complaints about the house were high hard pillows, bring your own!

#### Wet weather wonder

Our twice delayed family gathering was again plagued by wet weather but this lovely house coped with the rain and gave us a cosy place to celebrate all the Covid delayed birthdays, baby news and family events. The view of the bay is wonderful and the space to relax, play games and cook was wonderful. We even managed to go for long walks with our dog. A wonderful pet and family friendly accommodation

Exceptional position for a real relaxing holiday even though it rained most days for our weeks stay Only disappointment was front yard was not fully fenced and our dog could get out easily through side fence so we couldn’t relax when dog was out Very clean. Would stay again

Had a great stay over 4 nights. The location in amazing. Only small changes would be to make sure there are enough necessities for a large group for the time e.g. toilet paper and dishwashing tablets.

A great stay for the long weekend-perfect location, great amenities and close by to the shops, beach and walking/cycle way. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back again in the future.

#### Amazing location with picturesque views. Felt in love with this place instantly.

We stayed 3 days 2 nights, it's literally the beach on your door step, however the beach is no dogs allowed. The kids loved waking up going down to the beach collecting shells, riding their bikes down the track. We must say perfect location house was big enough to accommodate us. There is two separate house which works out perfectly. Thank you for an amazing weekend !!! Ps. We even saw dolphins swim by !!
