We loved everything about this place. The service was really great, room was cute and clean, location was great (just a few feet from the top of the “happy stairs”).

Great stay
Really fun little bistro with huge rooms. The archetecture of the house alone is a treat! The staff is super friendly. The location is right in the artsy section of town. Bravo!

Lovely stay!
What a lovely little hotel! Obviously fairly new, so everything is in excellent condition. The minimalist but charming decor highlights the soaring ceilings and gracefully aged natural woods. The terrace above the street is a perfect place to sip a Pisco sour or enjoy breakfast or dinner from the restaurant. There are two more patios where to relax. The hotel is conveniently located on a pretty and relatively quiet street of Cerro Alegre, lined with art galleries and craft/design shops. We walked everywhere, to nearby restaurants and even to La Sebastiana. We had a room above the street, with partial views of the ocean. Valparaiso is quite lively at night, so the rooms to the back of the hotel might be a bit more quiet in the evening? The room was spacious enough, furnished with a clever mix of vintage and contemporary furniture, and a very comfortable bed. Huge shower! Service was very attentive and charming.

Unique experience.
Quirky little hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shower and everything else worked well. Good walk into town. Funiculars help on the way back! Good restaurant. Good breakfast.

Perfection
An absolutely beautiful boutique hotel with incredible staff who made our stay even more special. The location is perfect for exploring the city, or for relaxing in the lobby in front of the fire with a glass of wine. The breakfast was fabulous! I will stay here again on my next visit to Valparaiso.

Short break in Valparaíso
The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring the main tourist sights of Valparaíso. Service and the staff were both very good. The heating in our room wasn’t working and we were provided with a portable heater to compensate which was necessary as the room was very cold otherwise. Breakfast was included and was good. We were in a downstairs room where the noise from the bar/ kitchen/restaurant could be heard. Not a huge problem for us, but maybe the upstairs rooms would be quieter.

Lovely boutique hotel in a perfect location for exploring Valparaiso. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Parking right out front of the hotel was available over the 3 day period were stayed there. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel in old town
Great location and charming hotel in the middle of the art district. The staff were extremely helpful and we had a very nice experience. The breakfast and restaurant are also very good.

Cute hotel with lots of ambiance but rooms are cramped and not user friendly. Had a superior room the first night. No hot water in room. Moved to a basic room our second day and at least had hot water but very very small and cramped. Also not the cleanest room. Hair on the bathroom floor.

Lovely hotel and good stay
Beautiful hotel, although a little style overnsubstance. Was a little cold and the breakfast, while well presented, wasn’t very filling. We didn’t seem to have hot water either, although we didn’t follow up and ask either so maybe we just did something wrong Having said that, the hotel is in a perfect location, the place was spotless and the staff were very friendly. There is a beautiful ceviche restaurant attached and it had a great atmosphere with lots of people around enjoying themselves. The bed was really comfortable too

Fabulous boutique hotel!!!
Fabulous boutique hotel, absolutely beautiful decor. Small room, but fine for 1 night. Can't beat the location. Had dinner at their restaurant, the ceviche trio was to die for! The reception even called the bus terminal to check on bus times for us to the cruise port - what service!

Excelent option in Cerro Alegre!
Fantastic deco, really cosi, a charm hotel. The Breakfast was a nice surprise as well, not a buffet but served by table and excellent.

Great small hotel in a wonderful city
My wife and I stayed at the MM 450 Boutique Hotel for several days while visiting Valparaiso. It is truly a beautiful well designed and unique hotel with a number of outdoor spaces to sit and rest, think read etc. It is well located neat restaurants, galleries etc. The staff were helpful and genuinely nice people. The restaurant was also very good. We would definitely stay there again if we were to visit Valparaiso again.

Adorable quaint hotel in Valparaíso
This hotel was great. Great location on a quiet street next to cute boutiques. The vibe is quaint and modern. The staff was very friendly and the food/drinks st their restaurant were amazing. Definitely recommend! I’ll definitely stay here again when I go back to Valparaíso!

Great Hotel!
This is a great hotel. The staff was friendly, the location great, and the hotel itself stylish. My only complaint was that the shower got hotter and cooler and hotter again-a very minor issue.

Great boutique hotel in great location
Stayed in the MM450 hotel boutique for 7 nights while visiting daughter. It is located in Cerro Alegre neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was exceptional! We would stay there again if we are lucky enough to visit Valparaiso, Chile again.

Terrible hotel
This hotel was the worst that I stayed in throughout a three month trip in South America. We arrived and were given Room #1. The room was very very small. The headboard side of the bed backs up to the backside of the bar in the restaurant so that every time they turn on the water, blender, or knock bottles around it seems like they are in the room with you. This goes on from early morning breakfast until late night. The other side of the room is next to the hotels public bathrooms so there was constant noise from there also. We switched to a room upstairs which was also very small and cold, as if there was no heat. The bed did not have a bedframe so you essentially laid you head and pillow against the wall which had a long drape hanging down. I hate to think how many people's heads have layed on that same drape. Disgusting! The front desk staff was very understanding when we checked out after one night of a planned three night stay. We suggested that room #1 should be used for something other than a guest room and they agreed that there had been many complaints, but the manager would not change it. Bottom line is...go somewhere other than this terrible hotel.

Heaven on earth!
Amazing staff that all wants to make a difference with their kindness and true interest in people. Nice living space on the front porch restaurant, in the courtyard, inside restaurant and lounge.... so many places to relax and feel at ease. We had booked 3 nights prior to arrival, but finally end up staying 9 nights... this says something about the place and the people. Breakfast was just perfect, taken on the front porch every day... loved it! Nice ambiance music playing through the day... The room was decorated in a minimalist style... just the essential... white linen, touches of wood... just beautiful!

Staff was a bit stuffy at start, but warmed during our stay. We booked somewhat late on-line and felt that this ended up putting us in room 1, adjacent to bar area. Heard bar music, but were assured it would be quiet after 10:30 - which it was. The room was comfortable, but felt dark and small. Absolutely no view of anything, but ok as we spent almost all of our time outside. Breakfast was a highlight.

Loved it. Looks as good in person as in the photos. Lovely staff, nice rooms (our larger one upstairs was far superior to the pretty but cramped smaller one we started in downstairs, so choose carefully), hearty breakfast.

Calming and charming boutique
The moment we got to the hotel I knew it was a good choice. Calming and charming decor that is well maintained and comfortable. The staff are just amazing, super friendly and helped us book a taxi, organised an early breakfast for us and told us how to get to the bus station. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Very nice small hotel with an excellent restaurant attached. Room was small but perfectly sufficient and comfortable. Excellent value for money too. Only small negative was the room does not have an espresso machine as was mentioned in the description on hotels.com.

the staff especially Xavier were fantastic. His enthusiasm was contagious and really added to the experience. The staff has a can do attitude. The hotel arranged for a driver for us, Christian, that waiting at SCL for over 6 hours while our plane was delayed! Incredible. The food in the restaurant was wonderful. Also recommend Espirutu Santo and Vinholo.

Not quite a boutique hotel
This is more of a boutique hostal than a boutique hotel. The room was very very cold and the heater supplied was far from adequate. The bathroom was clean but very old and practically no water pressure. I wouldn't recommend this unless you are looking for an upscale hostal but if you want a romantic hotel this is not the place. We left after 1 night even though we had booked 3.

Hotel is a gem
We stayed at this vintage hotel for 2 nights and it holds everything it promises. In low season it is a very quiet place, the breakfast was delicious, the rooms nice and beds comfy. I liked how they pay attention to details as far as the decoration goes. Very centrally located as well! Perfect little place to stay.
