The photo of the room was misleading. There was no air conditioning only a fan. The breakfast wasn't great, the eggs were awful. There was far to much traffic noise at night.
Appreciated for its restaurants and theaters, you might consider exploring La Doua. Check out the variety of things to see and do like Transbordeur, and jump on the metro at La Doua - Gaston Berger Tram Stop or IUT - Feyssine Tram Stop to get around the city.
Even though there aren't top sights in Charpennes - Charmettes, you can explore the larger area and take in top sights like Tête d'Or Park. Jump on the metro at Charpennes Station to see more of the city.
When in République - Tolstoï and the surrounding area, you'll want to check out sights like Part Dieu Mall or Tour Part-Dieu and hop on the metro to see more the city at Gratte Ciel Station or Republique Villeurbanne Station.
When in Tonkin Sud and the surrounding area, you'll want to check out sights like Tête d'Or Park or Interpol Headquarters and hop on the metro to see more the city at Le Tonkin Tram Stop or Charpennes Station.
If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Gratte Ciel and surrounding area, you can visit Part Dieu Mall and Tour Part-Dieu.
