Soothing rural setting, perfectly preserved, perched on a "balcony" & panoramic "belvedere" on a small hill overlooking a bucolic valley of fields & wooded meadows, in the heart of the rolling wine-growing countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises, close to many wild forests (to explore during relaxing walks or mountain bike rides) as well as neighboring vineyards (including the very famous "Mercurey" vintage or the AOC of Givry, the flagship of Burgundy wines, which is said to have been the favorite wine of King Henry IV!). Small, comfortable gîte. Contemporary country style. Carefully flowered & planted terrace, pleasantly shaded under a vine trellis. Access to a large enclosed garden of 700m² located a stone's throw away (shared), planted with trees and plants, offering a beautiful open view of the surrounding countryside, with a fruit orchard (peach, plum, cherry, hazel, kiwi, pear trees... / picking possible during your stay), bordered by the owner's chicken coop (home to her chickens & a goose). Composition: Gîte adjoining the owner's home (total independence without vis-à-vis). Gas central heating. Single-storey gîte on the ground floor: living room-kitchen, 1 bedroom (double bed 140x190cm), bathroom (shower), separate toilet. Private terrace + parking. Bicycle storage. Pleasant little cottage set up in an exotic 19th century country house, fully restored, nestled in a peaceful mini hamlet steeped in history, nestled in the rolling countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises (dotted with various sites protected in the "Natura 2000 Zone" for the quality of their rich ecosystems), not far from the first vineyards (accessible about ten km away), in the hollow of a peaceful hilly setting of wooded meadows, 14 km from the picturesque medieval & commercial town of Buxy (very many amenities including a supermarket). Magnificent surrounding landscape, both wine-growing and agricultural, combining vast vineyards, bucolic groves and gentle wild forests, neighboring the sublime Vaux valley ("Little Chalonnaise Switzerland") as well as the famous "Val d'Or" and its renowned "Mercurey" vintage (leading the Côte Chalonnaise vintages, one of the oldest AOCs in France).
