The staff was super friendly and really wanted to make the stay pleasant, eager to correct issues but unfortunately the building has problems. Stayed 5 nights and if I would have been able to cancel and stay somewhere else I would have. I had multiple issues with the heating in our room. Never got warm. Unreliable water temperature in the shower. Bathroom showed signs of mold and smelled of mildew. Hallways and lobby have an awful pungent smell of cleaning products. You can hear everything through the walls. Our room was much bigger than expected, which was nice. A/C was great. Overhead light bulbs were mixed colors in different parts of the room and in the bathroom which was very off-putting and frankly bizarre. Bathroom shower stall was VERY small with just a cheap plastic curtain around it. The first night we accidentally flooded the bathroom because the shower head blasted the curtain hard enough to blast water down below the curtain. We aren't the only ones to do this. The stall was so small there was no way to turn and move in the shower without the curtain clinging to our bodies. We are small, slim adults (the tallest is 5'7"). If you're a taller person you'll definitely be feeling scrunched in the shower. There were small random unpatched holes in parts of the walls. Some patched repairs never repaiinted. Lot of closet space, but no safe in the room for valuables. The young lady working front desk/reception was extremely helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. She was extremely accommodating when we needed extra towels, cutlery, etc. Super convenient to a grocery store and a DIY laundromat around the corner.
