"The village of Burgau is delightful - it contains small shops and restaurants, all within a short walk. The beach is sandy and has beautiful cliffs on either side. The townhouse was perfect for two couples, with plenty of room inside and outside for rest and relaxation. It was clean and well equipped. Our only complaint was that the coffee maker was crummy!"

"We were initially concerned that views from the deck didn't match photos on the vrbo website. Sandra graciously alleviated our concerns. The interior was very clean and incredibly roomy. In addition, it had excellent kitchen and bathroom ammenities. Although we didn't use it, the pool is a great feature. This is a great place for a family to stay."

"House was exactly as presented. Plenty of room nice patios and outside grill, garden and terrace. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were adequate but a bit firm. Loved the beaches and meeting local residents of this fun small town of Figueira."

"We loved the location and the place. However, telling renters to use Google Maps, at least telling Americans, to use Google Maps isn't helpful. The address provided was Bay View Townhouse at 65 Barro do sol Encosta Salema. We never saw anything called Bay View (we did see View and Sea View) and when we did a google search on 65 Bairro do Sol Encosta, we kept being routed to Bairro Social Encosta do Sol 65. Using Apple Navigation we kept getting something that said Social Club. I am not trying to...

"We loved this place, perfect for us to enjoy hiking, surfing and swimming along the coast with older children. Space downstairs large entrance hall was really helpful for storage of kit. Appreciated the mid stay clean, bbq, coffee pot… perfection would have been some pool toys! The lounger mattresses have seen better days."

"The property is great. Well presented and great facilities. It was bigger than we expected. The balcony has a great view over the village. The pool to a short walk away and brilliant for kids. There are a number of beaches only a short drive away and we visited a different one each day during our stay. The supermarket at the bottom of the hill is very useful"

"Loved the villa and location would go later in the year next time as villa cold inside and pool freezing, we went in May would probably go June next time. Burgau beach the locals so lovely and welcoming, we ventured out to Praia de Luz where some of the staff on the beach bars were rude and we welcomed the return to Burgau, was small village but we kept finding hidden pubs and restaurants, would definitely come back. The AC was switched off and we did not need to use, but some sort of heating...

"Location is very good - check in was fine - have to say the actual property could use some updating - description says newly renovated. However, seems some things could use further updating especially bathrooms. All in all, it is an good space if you are ok with a little 'rough around the edges'"

"Our host Martin has done something special on his property in the Algarve. Just two minutes from the village of Burgau. We enjoyed sitting out on our private deck watching the ocean go by while having take out pizza and enjoying a bottle of wine. Martin has thought of it all, laundry, a full kitchen, comfortable large beds, everything. We also enjoyed the pellet stove in the evenings after the sun went down. If you enjoy your own space when traveling, then this should be on your radar. thanks...

"The two of us came to Sagres for hiking and swimming and the house was a wonderful base for our vacation. It is very quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. Communication with the landlord was perfect. Check-in went smoothly and we received a lot of information from the owner about the place and possible activities. We felt very comfortable and recovered well."
