Absolutely wonderful ❣️ I chose this B&B because it had a view of Lake Siljan in Vikarbyn Sweden. This area is known for the Midsummer festival, which was very high on my list of things to do whilst in Sweden. It did not disappoint. The evening of the Maypole celebration was just a short walk from the B&B, and our hosts were very involved in the celebration, which made our experience extra special. Our room was very comfortable with a shared bath, which was not a problem at all. There were more than one to choose from. We were on the second floor which had its own kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, plus a table for seating. There was a balcony/porch to sit on with a beautiful view of the lake. It was so peaceful and quiet. The main dining area was on the first floor. The variety of food to choose from was wonderful, which included delicious homemade breads and jams. It was the only place we stayed in Sweden which also included homemade lefse, a Scandinavian specialty. Lefse is a flat bread , similar to tortillas, which most Americans are familiar with, but made with riced potatoes. My family always served lefse for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so this was extra special for me. Parking was onsite. There was a grocery store very close by, so you could buy food to make for lunch and/or dinner. There were a few shops nearby within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay here immensely. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Trevligt boende nära Dalhalla

Riktigt trevligt boende. Vi bodde i ett delat hus med två lägenheter, där vår lägenhet låg på bottenplan. Lite lyhört mellan lägenheterna men det var att förvänta sig i trähus. Sängarna var bekväma, lätt att sortera och kasta sopor, och köket var fullt utrustat. Värdparet var jättetrevliga och frukosten tipptopp! Läget var nära Siljan och Dalhalla, och enkelt att hitta till.

Lite förvirring vid incheckning men ordnade sig bra. När vi kom åter andra gången fick vi ett SMS med kod och åkte direkt till ”Timmerstugan”. Mycket smidigt och mysig stuga med allt du behöver. Jättegod frukost med lokalproducerade varor. Rekommenderas!

Séjour confort en Dalécarlie.

+ : Merveilleux environnement. Plage à proximité avec les enfants. Un bon coin de départ d'excursions autour du lac Siljan. La proximité d'un supermarché accessible à pieds. Airco utile qd on arrive avec la chaleur. Pelouse intéressante pour les jeux des enfants. Très petits points - : coin de repas extérieur serait plus agréable avec aussi la présence de chaises + confortables qu'un banc. Manque de crochets dans la salle de bain.

Fint hus. Fantastisk utsikt. God frukost.

Jättefint möblerat tvåvåningshus men trappan var för brant och farlig för både hundar och barn och grinden till trappen gick inte att låsa ordentligt, men det löste sig genom att man gick runt på utsidan el genom ett förråd. Svala rum, skönt i sommarvärmen. Fin inhängnad gräsmatta för hundarna. Fantastisk utsikt över Siljan från en stor fin balkong. God frukostbuffé i mysig dalamiljö.

Perfekt för besök på Dalhalla!

Perfekt boende om man ska besöka konserter på Dalhalla. Tar bara ca en kvart med bil. Ägaren kan också ordna med körningar dit och tillbaka. Trevligt värdpar med personlig service. Strålande utsikt över Siljan, speciellt från den stora allmänna balkongen. Har inga toaletter och duschar på rummen, men det finns gott om de allmänna, så det blir aldrig några köer. Tillgång till kök och kyl/frys. Trevliga rum, men man får bädda själv. Väldigt bra frukost! Tänk på att de få restaurangerna på orten stänger tidigt, vilket är lite tråkigt. Backlunds rekommenderas starkt för boende i området! Här kommer vi att bo igen!

Bra boende nära dalhalla

Trevligt boende i timmerstugan. Lite märkligt med dubbelsäng och en 120 i samma rum. Välutrustat kök, fin uteplats och allt man behöver. Supertrevlig personal/ägare Bra för Dalhalla då man slipper åka igenom Rättvik med allt det innebär på kvällarna 😀
