Overall, the Hvammból Apartments were a nice place to stay. The hosts were very accommodating, bringing us extra pillows and blankets upon request. However, if you are a sensitive sleeper, I would not recommend staying here. The beds are akin to futons and were rough to sleep on. For the price, were I to travel to Vik again, I would opt for a nicer place so I could get sounder sleep and not be so tired while on vacation.

I highly recommend this place to stay. The guest house is beautiful and clean, the property is gorgeous, and the family who operates it are wonderful people.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The room was clean, spacious, nicely designed and had good kitchen amenities. The owner, who is on site, is extremely kind and communicative. I would highly recommend staying here to others.

We arrived late but the property was very easy to access and we had no problems checking in. Very comfortable beds and clean interior, perfect for our overnight stay in Vik!

-good communication with owners. -Studio apartment layout🙁 -No washing machine🙁 -Google maps not great for finding the location. 😐 -small kitchen and limited utensils- no microwave or extractor fan🙁 -lots of parking available. L Stayed here on two separate occasions. First in rooms 1-4 and the second time in rooms 5-8. Rooms 5-8 seemed they were a bit larger than 1-4. I received an email from the owners about two days before which provided details on how to get to the guesthouse and arrival instructions. This was very helpful and useful. The place was warm and very clean on arrival. It is cosy but small with a wet room layout for the shower. The kitchen is small with limited cooking utensils, no microwave, no oven or extractor fan but is still fairly functional. This place was very good value for money and the location was really good for our journey.
