"A fabulous base to explore the area with the D Day Beaches and War Graves all close by. With an excellent location in the countryside set on a farm. Great facilities in the gite. Only one minute gripe no Uk tv, otherwise a fantastic property and a great holiday."

"The property was bigger than anticipated with plenty of room for all of us. The pool was a huge bonus if a little cold on cloudy days. There was everything we needed in the villa including a push bike! The villa is well placed in the centre of the DD day beaches and memorials which were very moving to visit. Port en Bissen is delightful with a market every Sunday. The only negative was the dusty surfaces. Maybe it had been a while since anyone stayed. plus the pillows, maybe 2 per person as they...

"Es war ein toller Urlaub. Das Haus ist einfach aber sehr schön und sauber. Eine tolle Aussicht. Wir waren zur Osterzeit vor Ort. Leider hat das Wetter nicht mitgespielt. Dafür kann der Gastgeber aber nichts. Sicherlich sehr toll zur Sommerzeit. Hier müsste der Gastgeber einen kleinen Grill noch aufstellen. Rundherum viel zu sehen und zu erkunden. Danke"

"We used the base for touring the Normany area. The accommodation was Peacefu l and in lovely location. Ample space for a group of 3. Facilities were very good with excellent facilities for self catering Few areas that need improving though. Beds are extremely low and need to be upgraded. We felt The tv media systems need upgrading as well. We had a brilliant time here and Camille was very helpful. Just a few minor touches needed. catering"

"A great place to stay. Close enough to the (amazing) beach that if you forget something it's no hassle to pop back and grab it. Really good location for accessing loads of WW2 sites (for when you have a WW2 obsessed teenager!), and some really good cycling routes nearby. Highly recommend, and will re-book if staying in the area again."

"I almost don’t want to give this house a good rating as I want to keep it for myself! Gorgeous, house in the center of town and central to the Normandy beaches. Such a perfect location. Communications from the owner was fantastic and we felt very welcome. Very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Perfect for the four adults who stayed, possibly not so suitable for small children or those with limited mobility due to the stairs. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! "
