It was mixed English and Spanish group. The tour guide Silvia was rude and unprofessional. She does not answer questions, left group because she went to buy extra ticket to the person that comes with her. All English speakers were confused where we meet . The hotel location is great from the Opera house, shopping, excellent restaurants and major landmarks. The bedding sheets and towels were not properly washed and dried. Found hairs on both.

Close to the city centre, easy access to the subway station. Staffs are friendly, interior decoration is great. One thing I didn’t like was that there was no heater in the room and the building turned off the heater, and there was no electric heater in half of our stay. I hope the hotel could improve this.

A well located, stylish and elegant hotel. The period décor and ambiance along with the old-school courtesy of the staff make a refreshing change from modern, identikit hotels. The room was clean, comfortable and, despite the hotel’s central location, very quiet. The breakfast offering was generous and of high quality. And the late check-out deadline was most useful for late departing customers.

Beautiful property, and staff was wonderful. Out the door on one side of the hotel is a strictly pedestrian zone. Lots of restaurants and the opera house is only a block away. We came at the end of November and the Christmas fair was set up in St Stephen’s square. We had a great time, & would recommend this hotel.

Lovely location and facility. Small boutique hotel. Quiet and yet in the square within a block. Great restaurants on the street as well as St Anna’s Church high you could miss on the outside but is breathtaking baroque on the inside!

Hotel in excellent location for walking around, restaurants and shopping. Close to sights. Beds were a little firm for our preference. Staff was friendly. Could probably use some updating. No bar but you can order drinks. Beautiful breakfast area.

The people at the front desk were very helpful. Excellent location for restaurants. Our suite was large and extremely beautiful! Our only complaint was the air conditioning was not cool enough.

Excellent location. Great facilities. However, the AC unit not powerful enough during the hot weather. Easy affordable parking nearby (12 euros per night). Friendly staff.

Centrally located, and can pretty much walk to all top rated attractions. Extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast is simply delicious with lots of choices. The staff onsite are fluent in English and very eager to help out.

The hotel was extremely beautifil in the baroque style. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a suite as it was a special anniversary which we were very pleased to receive. Location was perfect for lots of places of interest. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Vienna.

Great experience but need AC
Definitely delivers on the throwback Austrian empire feeling. Service was excellent as well. Only major issue is that the AC was off, but we seemed to be in the AC season from the dates the hotel published (said it was off through April; we were in early May). It was too warm to sleep and the local kids were partying outside the window (with *loud* music) so we could not leave the windows open. Note that the windows really do block out sound, so we chose sweating over noise.

The 24-hour front desk service was much appreciated. The staff went out of their way to ensure I was helped and answered my questions. The main lobby, lounge and eating area maintained an aesthetically pleasing style that matches the one in the first picture (except it's mainly in red).
