The bathroom seemed to date back to the Falklands War, and there was a strong, unpleasant smell everywhere. The noise from the road just 10 meters below was very loud, and to top it all off, the curtains were too short, providing neither proper darkness nor privacy for a ground-floor room. Another window in the entrance area had no curtains at all, with a lantern left on all night. I won’t even mention the internet, which barely worked in my room. I almost changed hotels in the middle of the night because I simply couldn’t sleep. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was just acceptable. There are many — really many — better options in Bariloche for the same price."
