Our 3rd floor unit is North facing onto Herald street with a small patio. It is an open concept design, with the living room and dining room sharing a space and a bedroom with a queen sized bed all on it's own. Located right near the historic China Town and Old Town, this is a newer building built in 2018\. It is on the corner of Herald and Government Street. Entry is fully automatic, you will receive instructions and your very own code which is different from those guests before you and after you. You can check in anytime you like (after 3pm). We've installed a brand new TV, with basic cable and a bunch of movie channels. There is no dedicated parking spot for this unit, however there is street parking (free at night) and numerous parking lots and parkades located nearby. The unit is light, clean and airy. PLEASE NOTE: nearby construction may take place at sometime during your stay. We have not been provided with a schedule for this- it may happen during your stay, it may not. If you want more information, please send us an Inquiry message. Everything is so walkable from the suite so we saved on gas and ubers. We had one hiccup with the code checking in but the hosts were very responsive and it was resolved quickly. The check in process was completely automatic which was great. The building is close to downtown, breweries and great food, while also being on the outskirts which kept it quiet. It’s in a great location downtown, you can walk everywhere easily. The only downside was parking, the street parking is $6 for 2 hours and you have to move your car every 2 hours from 8 am to 8 pm so its pretty limiting. The hosts recommended several nearby parkade which were much better. The area felt safe as well. I would stay again ##### tamara s. This will be going on for a long time. The noise lasts all day so you can’t use the outside deck during the day when the weather is warm. You can hear the noise when in the kitchen, living room and bedroom. At times it vibrates the building. When we asked the owner for a reduction in cost they said absolutely not. If we would have known that there was going to be construction across the street we would not have rented this place. As stated by the owners there is no parking. We have since learned that staying downtown Victoria with a vehicle and no designated parking stall is very inconvenient. Parking on weekend is hard to come by as the downtown area is very busy.
