First thing! This is a very clean hotel! We felt safe and enjoyed our upgraded breakfast! In the room it is noisy from other rooms and outside noise. Also if you are mobility challenged its not easy to move around in lobby areas or in the Pendray stairs stairs stairs…. Other than that issue its a great location and clean!

The hotel is centrally located with lots of places to walk to. Staff was friendly, room was spacious, parking was easy with an assigned stall, and breakfast was good. The best value in Canada for the price. I would stay at the Huntingdon Manor Hotel again.

Great place to stay. It was convenient, ferry port was across the street. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Hotel workers were nice and very accommodating. It was a pleasant stay!

We loved the hotel overall, but were disappointed by the lack of furnishings inside the room, which had been very recently renovated. It seemed like some decor was missing and the kitchen layout was very odd for a suite (the fridge door was against the wall and the door was put on the wrong way). No counter space (a rolling island would be a good addition). Everything was brand new so it seemed as if it wasn’t quite finished in time. There was no art on the walls, and no colour so it felt almost institutional. I had actually chosen the room style based on the bright and happy colours I had seen in the photos from the website, but it was all different. That being said, I have a feeling it will be sorted out and the overall service and staff were fabulous! Location is fantastic and I would definitely recommend and stay there again. Hopefully they make the room a bit more warm and cozy by then!

As stated yes the property is dated and rather noisy, breakfast was plentiful but average, the Old hotel has a touch of history and a nice old feel when you walk through the doors, but where really lacked class for me was the constant little reminders dotted around asking you to leave tips for staff, there’s perspex cards in your room and on your dining table with QR codes, but the worst for me was a tip box made out of cardboard in the middle of the dining room covered in green tape, it looked like a grade 1 kid made it, as I said a classless touch.

Liked the convenience and location. Room was clean and breakfast was very good. However, we found that it was noisy. You could hear people walking above and other hotel guests walking by in the hallway. Sound carried quite a bit.

It has a very nice atmosphere, you can tell its a older property, bed was a lttle hard for my liking, looked forward to the fresh baked cookies but never did see or smell them baking, asked about them once and he just said sometime later

Hotel is tired and needs an upgrade badly. I had to adjust my dates of stay and hotel made it difficult insisting that I first pay the bill and then get a refund from Expedia. Expedia as usual was very helpful but not the hotel. It also has the capacity to have a fantastic breakfast but instead offers a very poor selection. no fresh citrus fruit. Quick uncooked oats instead of good granola or muesli. No fresh fruit for the waffles. No nice teas and only one so so coffee.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. As a former hotel employee, I notice things that are a bit off, and I couldn’t find anything. No dust, no mildew, no crabby employees. Nothing but pleasant and clean environment and cheerfully helpful people. The breakfast buffet was varied and very good quality and they stored our luggage after checkout until our ferry later in the afternoon. We appreciated all the eco-friendly touches, including the community garden on site. The mattress was a bit firm for my taste, but some people prefer that i guess.

I booked this property looking forward to an experience in an old historic-type building. The property showed a variety of beautiful room photos. When we got to the room, it was very cheap, plain and old-looking. Also, cold, not well-lit and no warm welcoming feeling. Very let down with the room.
