Victoria stay
It was a good ppty. Our check in was initially delayed from 4 to 730. After communicating via the vrbo app they did get the ppty ready by 5 pm. Although I was upset at first the lovely host left us some beverages to apolohize for the delay. The gesture was very much appreciated. The ppty was a nice home away ftom home for our stay in Victoria.

Family get away
Overall, the space and location were exactly what we were looking for. The reason my rating was 4/5 was that it advertised 3 bathrooms and we only had access to two, it advertised no pets (we have allergies) and according to the welcome package pets are welcome, finally the beds were old and not very comfortable. The good things... backyard was sunny and beautiful, open concept kitchen and living area was great and the location was convenient, easy to get to and safe.

My family stayed at this property while visiting Victoria for a week at the end of September. They were very happy with the over all space, cleanliness, location & quick response from the owner. They stated they would absolutely book the same property for their next visit.

Good place but needs some more tender loving care
We liked to space , the neighbourhood , the windows, and the back deck. We would recommend some more care to bring the residence up to excellent. First of all it would be nice to have basic cable as some people like to have the local news. Second there were many light bulbs burnt out. One bedroom only had one light bulb working. Third the cleaning was not as good as it should be especially during Covid. The sheets in the master bedroom were musty smelling. We went out and bought our own sheets. It would be a good idea to upgrade the bedding and put in pictures on other accessories to brighten up the place. Having another end table in the master bedroom would also help. We don’t feel that time or care was put in to make this place really nice.

Lots of room
We enjoyed our stay a great deal. It is easy to get to downtown Victoria on hwy 1 and there are a lot of places to dine or shop nearby. There are a few minor things missing. A dish towel for wiping dishes, soap or body wash for showers and contact information for owner. There was no information on working the TV or fireplace and we had to request the log in for internet by calling. I think this is very minor and maybe just a few wrinkles that the owner needs to work out. But the house is comfortable and roomy and in a nice quiet area. Thank you .
