We have stayed in this building four times now. So close to everything we love. A beautiful view.
Always a great place to stay. If I had to find one thing that wasn’t perfect, I would say the bed is quite hard. I know it’s difficult with a Murphy bed to have a thicker mattress, but maybe a thin topper would help. My husband found it more of a problem then me. Overall, always a great place to stay.

Great location!
Lovely walking - shops and restaurants nearby. Would have been great to have AC as nights were hot but nice comfy bed and decor. No microwave so buy your coffee extra hot!

Victoria condo at the Janion
It was a beautiful property with great views of the water and downtown Victoria. Within easy walking distance of everything. It was very clean, bright and modern. It was very well sticked with dishes, towels and linens. I would definitely highly recommend it.

A perfect little place to stay
Fab place to stay right in the centre of Victoria. The view over the harbour is fab, seeing the sea planes come and go was fun to watch. The communication from the owners was fantastic too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location
I stayed with my daughter here for 6 days. Can’t beat the location. Does get a bit noisy at times but with both window covers closed that seemed to help. Parking is limited but we didn’t have a car, we just walked everywhere. Nicely stocked kitchen. No coffee maker only a kettle and French press but several cafes in one block radius. Bed was ok. Apartment definitely gets warm with the sun coming in. As mentioned in other reviews the shower head is not secure. One leg on the bed had a malfunction. But very minor bits. Waking up and overlooking the harbour in the morning was amazing. Highly recommend. Hosts were great and accommodating.

Great Location in Victoria
We love this place, have stayed here twice and would stay again! Great location for walking around downtown Victoria and is close to many great restaurants. The condo was a bit short on some supplies (no laundry detergent) but the view and location is well worth the stay.

Ideal Location
I was within walking distance of the downtown and Inner Harbour. Restaurants of all kinds were nearby. Lovely view out the floor to ceiling windows. Comfortable for 1 to 2 people. The Murphy bed was comfortable.

This is the perfect place for a couple to stay. Close to downtown, stunning views of the Harbour, walking distance to everywhere! The unit was super cute and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! Excellent location, easy walking distance to all of downtown Victoria. Building is quiet and very clean. Great rooftop patio with bbq for evening dinners. Check in was easy and quick. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location. Close to everything. The only downside was the parking situation. We had to park a few blocks away and drag our luggage to the site. There is no way to even drive up to the building to drop off your stuff. Also the shower head was not well secured and we had to rig something up so we could shower without having to hold it…… and there is no air conditioning and the window coverings leading to the patio were broken. A bit disappointed that the host didn’t make sure everything was in working order prior to our stay. Other than all that we had the best time.

Clean space with a great location
We really enjoyed staying at the Harbour View Studio. The process was smooth and the space was clean with all the necessities you need. The view from the studio was great but the location was even better, with walking distance to most tourist attractions and some lovely restaurants. We would definitely stay here again next time we are back in Victoria!

Great spot for a a getaway
The location and view of this cute little place is perfect for exploring the city. No parking but if you just hang out down town there’s no need for a car, everything you would need is close by. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies for preparing meals, very impressed! The mattress could be upgraded but is pretty on par with rental properties. Had a wonderful stay, thank you!

Great little place in excellent location!
Positives: Excellent location within walking distance of tons of shopping and restaurants (really nice Korean restaurant downstairs, tasty Jam Cafe a short walk.) Interesting view of the harbor activities. An easy one-mile walk from the Clipper terminal. Well appointed with attractive (and surprisingly comfy) modern furniture. Very comfortable for 2 people, especially with Murphy bed pushed up. Easy/streamlined check-in/access. Very safe and quiet feel. Nice soap/shampoo/conditioner provided. Washer/dryer are handy. Really good value! Negatives: Only some very small annoyances: many of the put-away linens/towers were wet when we arrived (I think the dryer is on the fritz!?) The room stays pretty warm, even with the heat turned down. The bathroom door isn't totally private, which may be a tiny bit odd for some (there's a gap in the glass). The TV is pretty small, even for this space, but works fine. Coffee maker is a French press, so you have to procure some coarse-ground coffee for yourself, vs. something easier. We saw three silverfish type bugs during our two-day stay. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other travelers.

As a weekend stay accommodation, the suite itself was excellent, very nice design and perfectly located in one of the best areas of town for visitors. Our host could not have been more helpful. The downside for a summer visit was lack of air conditioning which meant we had to have a fan on all the time. If traffic noise bothers you, this might also be an issue. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay.

Great little base at a reasonable price.
We enjoyed our stay over the last 3 weeks. The central location is perfect and the well appointed unit felt like home. There is a really nice Korean restaurant downstairs as well as Cafe 1891 who serve great coffee and tasty baking from local bakeries.

We had problems here. We booked and all was fine but we never got the check in details. We messaged through the system but no response. The hosts phone number was incorrect on the website and so had to call Home away (an international us number which cost us a fortune) to get sorted. Finally got the check in details and was nice looking. However, for such a small place there is a large cleaning fee. Plus beware the check in is late and need to be out early. For such a small apartment not sure why they need so much time to clean. Especially as not a good job. There were hairs of the previous guests in the shower (on the wall). Plus the fan was dirty when we moved it. Also there is the very bare minimum of everything including two very small towels and only 1 flannel meaning nothing to dry hands when just using the bathroom. The sofa is ok and an internet TV. It's on a main junction so you couldn't sleep with windows open. Fine for us but would be hot in summer. This was one of 4 apartments we stayed in and it was the smallest, most expensive and least well equipped.

Modern trendy building in a great location
This is nicely appointed suite that has all of your travel needs in one great space, and it's located only blocks away from great restaurants, coffee bars, lounges, and stores. The building itself is a renovated older structure (a warehouse or factory) in which some of the original fixtures have been preserved. The check out time was perhaps a bit early, but otherwise this is perfect. I especially liked the suite's lighting, the fuzzy carpet, and the comfy couch.

Great central location with view of Victoria Harbour, clean & modern decor
Great central location across from Market Square, close to many eateries and great pubs, walking distance for brew pub touring. Located in the new part of the Janion building, very modern white decor, good quality amenities. Nice view of Victoria Harbour and mountains, but also overlooks Johnson St bridge, so lots of traffic noise, bring earplugs if a light sleeper.

Great Location!
This is a beautiful apartment in one of the best locations in Victoria. It was simple to book/access/park and is surrounded by wonderful restaurants. The only downfall is that checkout is really early... 10am.. Most VRBO rentals have a 12 check-out so keep this in mind

Beautiful Loft in downtown Victoria
We loved our stay at this loft! The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything you want to do in downtown Victoria. Even though the loft is small, it's been decorated and furnished in such a thoughtful way that it feels very spacious and there is tons of storage space. The unit and building are brand new and spotless. We would definitely come back! Thank you for sharing your lovely loft.

Lovely downtown location
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this Janion building micro loft. Although the suite was small the unit had everything necessary for several days. The bed and sofa were very comfortable , the view delightful and the kitchen well-equipped.
