Great location, great service! Would like to see real dishes or bio degradable for breakfast. Plastic seems like such a terrible environmental disaster. The property needs updating. The deck off our suite was lovely, but old and tired, algae, dirt etc. the facilities were nice to use but outdated and need renovation.

It’s a lovely place with kitchen and balcony.The decent breakfast included. The location is very close to parliament building.

Breakfast was lower quality. I came down for breakfast at 915am and thought I'd have lot's of time to eat, there was not much to choose from and the hot food was cold. It felt like things were already being packed up and customers were rushed to eat. We were also disappointed to see the pool was closed. The work our area was small and had limited equipment. I felt the hotel should be of higher quality for the price! On the plus side, the beds were super comfortable and the staff were nice.

We have been staying at this hotel for years when we come to Victoria, but were very disapointed to find that the room's mini kitchenette no longer contains dishes, pots, dishtowels etc and that there is now a $15 fee to have them brought to our room.

We had an event planned for the weekend which was cancelled due to weather. As this was out of of our control, I contacted Expedia to see if we could receive a refund on our hotel booking or at the very least a credit as we wanted to reschedule the event and hotel stay when the weather improved. We were told by Expedia that they had contacted the hotel and we would be contacted within 72 hrs to let us know if we could receive a refund or credit. We never heard anything from either the hotel or Expedia and lost $160. Very disappointed.

The place is nice, very convenient and walkable from the main downtown area. But the walls of the room were so thin we could hear everything going on outside our room, every door being open and shut. Very early wake up.

A decent hotel in a nice and quiet area. Nice complimentary breakfast. It's a short walk to the Fisherman's Wharf, parliament building, Royal BC Museum, and downtown Victoria.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at this hotel. Although staff was really nice and polite, the room was old and not comfortable. We found it too dark, since there’s no much light coming in from outside - this is the first floor room facing the street. We had a very hard time with the bed and mainly the thermostat, which was old and did not function well. We had very bad nights as we struggled a lot with the temperature in the room. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel if all the rooms were like that one we stayed in.

2 adults 2 kids stayed for 2 nights. Excellent location and great property. Very clean and maintained room. Perfect little kitchen with a balcony and park(harbour)view. The breakfast was a great way to start the day.

My experience in this hotel was average. 3-4 minutes walk from parliament house and from inner harbour which was good thing but property was looking like little bit old. View in winter time was good because there were no leaves on the trees and it was easy to see through to the harbour side which could be different in summer's. Parking in the hotel is chargeable.

I am a detail person and I can’t help but see things- so don’t take this as heavy handed; overall it was good. I would stay again. It’s in a great location, extremely accessible. The cost for the view I had was great (see through the park to the harbour!). I have never stayed anywhere that was as close to “all the things”. Easy walk to downtown, the parliament building are next door, museum. In summer, this would be an amazing spot to do the harbour tour and eat with a view. Breakfast is as expected, pool was closed, hot tub was open (a little creepy with the camera- but maybe necessary?). I didn’t use the laundry, but it was accessible and clean (said 2$ which seems reasonable!), espresso machine in lobby (included). The carpet in the room has lifted into ridges- fine for me but could be an issue for tripping for seniors, there was a kitchen, but the pots were locked up, I bath and there’s soap and mold under the soap dish (this isn’t uncommon- I’ve seen it in far more $$$ hotels). Value wise this was pretty good, but it should be noted that the access to parking is restricted: it’s 6’6” only. The ramp/ceiling edge may be less, so if you’re close- it may not work. I have a minivan height suv and had to remove the ski rack.

Vey much enjoyed our 2 night stay. Clean, quiet room well appointed. Only the closed pool was a bit disappointing but it was minus 12 outside so the indoor whirlpool was a welcome substitute. Close to the local amenities and quiet at night. Great breakfast included. Would stay here again.

My reason for choosing this property was for a working pool. Sadly, it was an outdoor pool and closed for the season (and minus temperatures!) but the hot tub was working and welcome after a cold day outdoors. Overall, a very nice hotel, nicely kept. Great staff and a very good breakfast included. Close to the tourist center of downtown Victoria yet nice and quiet at night.

Nice comfortable room on a fairly quiet street in downtown Victoria! Close to all of the action and the downtown shopping. Was a bit noisy in our room next to the pool showers but still acceptable. Good rate and nice underground parking for smaller vehicles. Would stay again!

Room was very nice, enjoyed the balcony. We liked having the little kitchenette as it helped feeding our kids. The breakfast was great. Used the hot tub. Location was great for walking around downtown. Staff were friendly.
