« Property needs some major upkeep- owner was amazing for extension on us leaving a little later- biggest complaint is when we got into our room the smell of dog pee hit me so hard I was physically nauseous. We had to open the window to even be able to sleep- had we not have gotten into town so late we wouldn’t have stayed. Air fresheners were used to try and cover up the smell, but all it did was make it smell like lavender and dog pee. If you want to have a hotel where animals are allowed that...

« Some distance from the main road and no neighboor next to my room so it was quiet and I slept well. The room need to be renovated. Everything is dark and smell bad. Althoug smoking is forbidden since many years, the old smoke smell has not been removed. Armchair, A/C, bedspread and curtains are very old and shall be changed. Lighting is insufficient. »

« I was very happy with my stay at the Trail Inn in Amana. The location is perfect. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is walkable. My room was incredibly clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner was top-notch! It actually went down to 60 degrees!!!! Because the heat index was over 100, I definitely used it. Would absolutely stay here again! »

« This hotel allows pets, so the neighbors dog woke up early and didn't stop barking since 6am. In my room, there were some dead bugs on the floor, and it smelled moist/wet. The room was still good amd comfortable. I slept well when thedog was gonethe next day. The food was good, with eggs and sausage served. The staff is not the approachable type, but they still provided good amicable service when I asked for extra laundry bags. »

« My husband and I are truck drivers so we stay at different hotels every night. This was such a great stay. The room was wonderful, we walked in and it was already cold in the room, we didn't have to turn air on to cool it down. The bathroom and shower we super clean and actually had enough towels. The staff were wonderful too. »
