Very tired and run down room, we last stayed there 42 years ago and I doubt much has changed. Shower was very hit and miss with minimal water flow.

Average accommodation
Rooms are aged, but generally surface clean. Some mould on bottom of shower curtain and a funny smell in the bathroom like minimal cleaning products utilised. Check in is easy, and really appreciate the easy late self check in.

A comfortable overnight stay in the centre of town
Having made an impromptu decision to stay in Victor Harbor on a Saturday night, I needed accommodation and found the Comfort Inn available for booking online. Checking in during office hours, i was welcomed by the friendly staff, who couldn't have been more helpful. Being familiar with Victor Harbor, I declined the offer for local information. I was in a room which faced the main road. While a little noisy during the day, it was not a problem in the evening after the tourist traffic left, as locals use the main road a block away. Being in a queen room with 2 single beds,the facilities were more than spacious for my needs and comfort. I found that the television needed plugging into the power, although I assume this was a byproduct of having booked the room that morning. Overall though, the facilities in the room, and the easy walking access to local shopping and dining, the Sunday markets, and other local attractions, made for a fantastic stay at a reasonable price. Car parking was easy in the interior of the motel, despite a reasonable number of guests and vehicles.

The location is all this place has going for it! The room was outdated (kitchenette) and poorly equipped. The old air con rattled. The bathroom was in need of fixing as the toilet didn’t always flush and the shower was horrible. From a health perspective please supply clean un-used sponges! The premises also backs onto side streets and alleyways which tend to meeting places for people.

Couldn't ask for more. Clean room, fresh bedding, tea coffee facilities, and functional TV and microwave. Aircon also worked well. The location is outstanding. Everything within a 5 min walk. Only saw staff at checkin, very pleasant and efficient.

We loved how close the motel was to the town centre. Everything was in walking distance. Unfortunately, we were not provided with simple plates, bowls or cutlery during our stay so it made having meals rather difficult.
