Having made an impromptu decision to stay in Victor Harbor on a Saturday night, I needed accommodation and found the Comfort Inn available for booking online.
Checking in during office hours, i was welcomed by the friendly staff, who couldn't have been more helpful. Being familiar with Victor Harbor, I declined the offer for local information.
I was in a room which faced the main road. While a little noisy during the day, it was not a problem in the evening after the tourist traffic left, as locals use the main road a block away.
Being in a queen room with 2 single beds, the facilities were more than spacious for my needs and comfort. I found that the television needed plugging into the power, although I assume this was a byproduct of having booked the room that morning.
Overall though, the facilities in the room, and the easy walking access to local shopping and dining, the Sunday markets, and other local attractions, made for a fantastic stay at a reasonable price.
Car parking was easy in the interior of the motel, despite a reasonable number of guests and vehicles.
