It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal to the West ( living area) and the east end (bedroom ) faces the Old Court House and Historic Downtown. This building dates back to the 1800's and was used as an old speakeasy in the roaring 20's. It features a huge private King Suit with custom headboard. Attached is a walk-in closet with laundry and on- suite bath with a large two- person jacuzzi tub with rain shower. The main living area is an open concept kitchen and living room with a guest bath which includes an old cast iron tub. We have tried to keep many of the originals features of this space while providing modern comforts. It was like stepping back in time as we opened the wooden door taking us up the worn staircase to the amazing apartment upstairs. Beautifully decorated and conveniently located to shops and restaurants, we’ll definitely consider this property for our next trip to Vicksburg. Everything was perfect, other than not receiving the door code prior to arriving.
