Our stay there was very pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. Easy drive to Mt Horeb for a day of troll hunting.

It was a pleasant and peaceful setting in the country. We enjoyed the coffee station and were able to find a fabulous restaurant for dinner. Parking was right in front of our rental.

Could have been better. Room had cobwebs everywhere. Pool was green, and surrounding area was not well kept. Nice quiet area.

Overall it was a nice cozy place. It seemed to be clean. A few things I would like to mention is: they need to dust the light above the bed, need to provide napkins or paper towels for eating meals. I was a little upset about where you can walk your dog. You have to ask for permission to walk around the house. I felt like the pool was not accessible.The bed was very comfortable and lots of pillows. More trash bags should be provided especially if you stay more than one night.

The room was very clean. Exactly as listed, and perfect for our short stay visiting family. Room was very comfortable, and well stocked with all the essentials. We appreciated easy communication with the host, Marca. She also provided a pack & play and bag of toys for our 17 month old, which he loved. Would definitely recommend & stay again!

I was impressed with everything about my experience here. Not simply “the room was good” but everything within it was quality, I could see that the details mattered to the host. The pillows were SO incredibly comfortable and the mattress was comfortable and supportive. The Keurig cups were delicious and the Keurig water reservoir was full. Hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash all provided and matched the aesthetic. The towels were soft and I was delighted when I realized I forgot Q-Tips yet some were provided. The lighting in the room wasn’t overbearing. There are enough outlets! This exceeded my expectations and enhanced my vacation experience. I did not utilize anything outside of my room so I cannot speak on that end but there was a very informative and complete information guide put together by the host clearly marking the property line so we can know how far we can venture onto the property as well as all kinds of helpful, useful information. It’s also very peaceful, quiet, and really has a country getaway feel. The host was responsive when I had questions the week before my trip. This is a good choice. 10/10 would recommend

Lovely relaxing place to stay outside the bustle of Madison. We appreciated having real cups and glasses available as well as bottled water and a few snacks too. The screened in gazebo is a treasure. It was great to be able to park right outside our door too.

Short weekday getaway

This property was perfect for our little getaway to check out UW-Madison and the surrounding areas for just a couple days. The place had so many extra amenities that were available, and Marca was welcoming and kind if we needed anything. Perfect for a couple’s trip!

Great property outside of Madison in a secluded area. Everything was as described, we felt comfortable and had a great time. I would definitely go back!

The room was nice with the big window offering natural light and a beautiful view of the surroundings. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was stocked with essentials and had nice plush towels. The host family was very friendly and accommodating. A very serene, comfortable spot to end a long day of traveling.

Great Stay

We had a great time. The room is small but it was clean and had everything we needed. The owners are very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the pool very much and the property is beautiful. We will be coming back next year.
