The property has been recently renovated with taste and refinement and is the ideal home for those seeking tranquility and style in the heart of beautiful Verona. We accept polite and respectful couples and families, ready to be pampered by the serenity that emanates this pleasant home. Casa Ileana is equipped with every comfort, including: refined furnishings and kits, various accessories such as dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer, Wi-Fi internet connection Inside we find a living room with kitchenette, master bedroom, bathroom, bedroom with relaxation area. The property is located about 150 meters from the limited traffic area from which you can reach all the most beautiful destinations in the historic center in 5/10 minutes on foot. The strategic location allows guests to arrive by car and parked at the "park isolo", about 50 meters away. Well equipped kitchen (we cooked in 2 nights); convenient location (close while quieter than across river in city center and near to university); clean and comfortable. We loved the quiet out of the way location but it may not be for everyone. Also read Ileana's check in instructions very carefully they are very clear and easy to follow, but could be confusing if not carefully read. Also the actual location does not match the one on VRBO website so make sure you follow the address provided by Ileana. There restaurants and grocery stores within 5 minutes walk and 10min to the center of town. Taxis were easy to find out side the train station and Ileana was fantastic to communicate with and made our stay very pleasant. The apartment is exceptionally well maintained, and very comfortable. It was our favorite stay in our three week holiday to Italy. ##### Christy M. The apartment is in a very good condition, clean and well taken care of. The host shows great attention to detail. Communication was also very smooth. One suggestion is to emphasize to the guests the name of the street, Vicolo Santa Maria in Organo. as there is another street nearby with a very similar name Via Santa Maria in Organo (lane vs street with the same name). We ended up going to the wrong place first. Our fault, as I didn't read it carefully enough, but it's easy to confuse, if you don't speak Italian. The two are located pretty close, though... Finding parking in the street nearby was not hard. We could always find a spot within a couple of minutes walk. ##### Sasha F. The location was very close to everything…only short walk to most of the landmarks we wanted to see. Ileana was great with messaging us about how to access the apartment…answering any questions we had…checking in on us to make sure we were good and didn’t need anything. The apartment itself was very modern, clean and had all the necessities one would need. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Ileana also took that extra step to help us out with little snacks for when we arrived and has a little table of business cards of local restaurants to help us make dinner plans. I like to think we treated her apartment like our home as that is what it felt like. I think she set the bar very high as I am hoping to find this kind of care in all the places we stay at… but not sure any place will compare. Would I stay here again…absolutely. Séjour de 3 nuits en mai 2023 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Jonathan D., Ilkley, West Yorkshire UK 1 oct. 2018 #### A modern, clean apartment close to the city centre with great facilities Firstly we should say that the most important part of this review is a big thank you to the owner Ileana for providing such a fantastic apartment. From the beginning Ileana's communication makes you feel at ease with prompt replies to any questions as well as clear instructions. Ileana makes you feel most welcome. We arrived in Verona after a flight to Verona Villafranca Airport and a short bus ride to the Porta Nuova. Buy your bus ticket €6 in the terminal near the exit doors and the bus stop is close by. From there we took a stroll into the city which is about a 20 minutes walk to main square, or Piazza Bra. Thoroughly recommended on a warm late summer evening and your suitcases are easily pulled along the marble pavement flagstones. Once you reach the Piazza Bra then the hustle and bustle of the city begins however it is traffic free and is simply amazing. Stroll on along past the cafes, trattoria's, restaurants, high end shops, until you reach the Ponte Nuovo (follow the direction for the Giardino Giusti which is a must visit by the way) and cross the river Adige. In about 5 mins near to the Piazza Isolo (underground car park available) cross the road towards the post office and take a left onto Viccolo Santa Maria in Organo. The property is located just a little way down on the left. (Note it is NOT on Via S.M. Organo as in the description but the smaller 'Viccolo') Ileana met us at the property and explained everything we needed to know. Guests are provided with a continental style breakfast, coffee machine with coffee pods, orange juice, bottled water, bottle of prosecco in the fridge, sweets, robes, towels, wifi, fully equipped kitchen for 4 persons inc fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a separate studio room with sofa bed, good quality fittings and furnishings and a very comfy bed!! We found it a lovely place to relax after sightseeing or going into the city to socialise in the evening. Locally there was a market on the Piazza Isolo and a good breakfast cafe nearby, cash machine at the post office as well as some good little shops and a lively bar around the corner. It is a city, so expect some noise - mainly in the morning, though our sleep was quiet and uninterrupted. Would we return? Yes! Thankyou Ileana. Jonathan and Amanda ##### Jonathan D.
