The nice lady at the front desk told management you said someone in your family was on their deathbed which is why we would gladly do a refund. But you told Expedia a different story and then you posted a different story in the review once your refund was denied. This is high season and we have strict cancellation policies. Please contact us so we can handle your concerns.

Sorry to hear your stay didn’t go as planned. We have done considerable upgrades to the hotel & maintenance is ongoing. The property is Old Florida & will we do not want to overly modernize it, we do make every effort to upgrade & maintain it to keep the same feel. We wish you the best in your travels.

We just finished refreshing all our hotel rooms. It was laborious work that required us to empty each room to retexture, repaint, replace all baseboards, install new ceiling fans, room lighting, switches and much more. Please reach out to us so we can better assist you.

The tiki bar, Square Grouper, Dune Bar, Archie’s Seabreeze, Hurricanes & Manatee Island Grill are all within walking distance of the hotel & many with great inlet and ocean view seating. And yes the beach is very close and easily accessible. We hope to see you on your return visit

But there are so many options within walking distance as well. The destination fee is also clearly listed on both sites and also provided in the total for what is due at the hotel. It covers parking, internet and other hotel amenities like beach towels. And we absolutely are pet friendly and do charge a fee which is no where close to covering the cost of annual damages caused by being pet friendly. We have renovated all of our rooms with new paint, ceiling fans, ACs, new baseboards, & new lighting throughout We are in the process of updating our mirrors and handles in the bathrooms. They do seem to stick out more since everything else looks freshly done. Yes out hotel is very convenient to the beach and jetty park while other hotels are on the inlet. We do not have a restaurant on site but we are within walking distance to numerous establishments & of course Uber Eats. We do provide some options for drinks and light snacks for guest convenience. We appreciate your feedback. To clarify, all reservations that are not prepaid are authorized the day of checkin to make sure the payment is valid. If we were to hold same day reservations without a valid credit card and wait for a guest to either check in or not, we would be unable to rent that accommodation for that night if the guest no shows. All hotels have this policy. Guests can absolutely change their method of payment at checkin or even pay cash at check out. This is standard hotel industry practice. Just this past Friday, we had a 90 year old guest that lost his wallet before check in that was a walk in. We allowed this elderly guest to check in and make payment the following Monday when banks reopen. We are very accommodating and understand situations arise especially to our elderly guests.Additionally, if a guest is not happy at check in, we never force them to stay and a full refund is provided. You stayed with us in December and left the same review. If you felt this way, why would you come back? Also I have contacted Expedia to let them know you offered my staff drugs. It was reported to management by the staff. We hope you find alternative accommodations in the future.

The 2 bedroom apts have large flat screen TVs in the living rooms but not in the bedrooms. Our cleaning staff works very hard to provide a clean and hospitable environment.
