I was very surprised at how clean the entire place was and how friendly the staff was. The renovations look new and the place smelled good and clean too, not the overwhelmingly pungent odor of weed and incense. We plan to stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

ROOMS ARE OLD BUT FAIRLY CLEAN. RECEPTIONIST VERY NICE, FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. BEDCOVERS SHOULD BE REPLACED INSTEAD OF THOSE OLD BROWN ONES. VERY NOISY WITH TRAINS, PEOPLE SHOUTING OUTSIDE AND CONSTANT FIREWORKS ON CHRISTMAS EVE. WE WERE ON THE FIRST FLOOR AND WOULDN'T OPEN THE CURTAINS AS THE PARKING WAS LOOKING STRAIGHT INTO OUR ROOM.

Parking was rough Friday night as it is connected to a local bar & grill. We ran into someone Saturday morning peeing publicly in the parking lot and going through trash. Slept decent, smelled a little of mold. We passed on breakfast, no hot food,and pastries were stale.

The breakfast bar hardly had anything other that waffle station and coffee and cereal. No hot items or protein. Stayed 2 nights, and maid came to tidy up and only made one bed. Kind of weird, like she halfway cleaned and was called away. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean except for the grungy tubmat and really old and moldy looking encasement around the tub. Apparently there had been a leak in the ceiling from the room above, and they patched it and spackled it, and it cracked and looked like it was coming down. We laughed because it looked like the owner himself did it because he did not want to call an expert to do it properly and replace the knockdown. Smelled a bit moldy in the hallways and in the room. They are apparently doing some construction because of the construction coverings on the hall rugs, so hopefully they are working on things. We stayed for a swim meet, and really needed the breakfast for the athlete, so we will be staying elsewhere from now on. 2 positives: comfy beds with lots of different pillows, and the hotel is connected to Flanigan's, so it was super easy to find a decent dinner.

Floors were greasy, counters were sticky. Sink filled with water and took all night to drain. Had to play with the toilet handle to get it to flush. The exterior door had a broken lock allowing anyone access inside and lots of shady people hanging in the parking lot. Parking lot would be full of trash in the mornings. It was very noisy over all. Do not stay here
