The hotel was nice and cozy. The property was conveniently located to many places. I look forward to staying there again.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. The room was lovely, super comfy, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. And the reception lady was really helpful.
And it was in a really quiet area.
We stayed here during our trip to Vernonia to ride the Banks/Vernonia bike trail. Staff was awesome and very friendly. We definitely will return next year.

Initially we had an AC issue but it was fixed. Close to town. Good location. No closets. Could use updating on fixing stairs and furniture in rooms. Nice stay.

Cute, old hotel that appears to have been mostly renovated on the inside, yet missing some typical qualities of a room (closet, hangers, phone, towel rack, door mats). The floor of our room was filthy, my daughter socks were darkened with dirt within the first hour of arrival. We immediately only wore shoes inside.
We had the family room which had a great balcony, but seemed to be a work space dump ground (ladder, paint supplies) as well as being a bit unstable.
The property was located in the heart of town where all shops and restaurants were walkable. Very convenient location.
Great location in downtown Vernonia. We appreciated Julie's warm hospitality during our stay. Our extended family booked several rooms for a family gathering. We all were pleased with the accommodations. The rooms had mini fridges which was a wonderful surprise to me. This hotel was exactly the peaceful escape we were looking for! We will be returning.
Brenda and Julie were both very helpful as we were arriving late due to road closures. Even though the front desk was closing, Julie opened our room so that we could get in when we arrived. She even turned on the heat on in the room for us. Very pleasant experience.

Manager had not been informed by Expedia that we had reservations. Room was fine, but with only 4 groups in the entire hotel, why put people above us that had tv blaring and wandered around until 5:00 AM? And saying it’s highly rated in this tiny town is a joke…it’s the only hotel. Never going back.
I was visiting family and had heard mixed reviews about the property but thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was very helpful, the rate was reasonable and the room was clean, modern and well appointed. I will stay again when I come back to visit.
First time here. Had a family camping trip in L.L. Stub Stewart camp ground and I used this as a “base camp “ for me. Hotel was close enough and very enjoyable and nice. Comfortable bed and very clean room
