OVERVIEW  
The Copenhagen is known for its unique history—originally built and owned by the founder of Mountain Creek Ski Resort, and was recently purchased by a Manhattan architect, who redesigned it to a stunning modern-style chalet. This magnificent one-acre property is gated all around to allow children to confidently wonder between the private tennis and basketball court, heated pool, spa, and outdoor play areas. The 360 degrees of breathtaking mountain-views is only “interrupted” by a beautiful 9-hole golf course (north) and the ski slope (south), both of which are tangential to the house and accessed directly through the northern and southern gates. Nature doesn’t fade as you walk into the house. With all the many windows, every part of the house is decorated with intense living green art and bathed with natural sunlight. The hardwood oak floor, contrasted reclaimed wood walls, provides warmth and coziness to the house. As you walk into the main space, a 200-million-year-old fossilized wood fireplace greets you. The center of a cozy living area is filled with sunlight, natural wood, and leather. The space then stretches to the dining area, with a uniquely-designed 12ft red oak reclaimed wood table and onto a high-spec and fully-equipped kitchen.  
  
Take your morning espresso on the golf-facing balcony or the pool deck, and catch the sunset with a glass of wine on the amazing skiers deck or in the west balcony. During the winter, you can watch the skiers from the living and dining areas or join them; literally a few steps, and you’re on the slope. This is a great retreat for mixtures of avid skiers and guests who simply want to enjoy the spoils of the house or relax by the fireplace and watch the family ski by.  
  
During the warm months, you won’t spend a day waiting for the pool to heat up. The pool and hot tub/Jacuzzi temperatures are controlled remotely and will be heated in advance of your arrival. Once there, download the app to modify your preferences. The house is equipped with state-of-the-art home theater and whole-house zoned Sonos, which feeds around 50 speakers in the house and another dozen in the pool, surrounding decks and the tennis/basketball court. Download the free Sonos app, and have the music you love at your fingertips and throughout most spaces in the property and out. There are six large-screen Smart TVs in the house. Cable in main living area. All have HBO+Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon box, Google Chromecast and a Sonos Home Theater sound system.

Magical! Beds were so comforter, lay out was accommodating for large groups, serene surroundings. This house has it all. Hosts were also a bonus very responsive and accommodating!

We loved this house! It was perfect for our annual Friends Thanksgiving weekend! We cooked up a storm, there was plenty of space to spread out and we had beautiful views! Everything was immaculately clean as well! It was perfect!

We loved our stay! This house was perfect for our family (6 adults) 3 teenagers. Everyone had their own space, the backyard was our favorite place to hang. Close to waterpark. Tennis court was a big bonus! We can’t wait to come back during the winter for a snowboard trip!

#### Even better than the pictures! 

Such a magical property! I came here with some friends for my birthday weekend and we had the most incredible time. The space- both indoors and out, is even more beautiful than the pictures (which never happens!). Everything was very clean and well kept. And the property manager was very supportive and communicative throughout. Providing lots of helpful information beforehand, and stayed in touch during my stay, even over the smallest things. We came during the summer but would love to come back during the winter months. I couldn’t recommend this property more!

Amazing property for a large get together of family and friends! Kitchen is well stocked. Legos and games to keep children entertained! House was clean and had plenty of space. We came to ski but would consider coming back for other seasons as well

#### Couldn’t have been better for my Wedding Weekend

Everything about the house and hospitality from Fanny and Marley was so special. We rented the house for my wedding weekend in Sparta and couldn’t have been better for my husband and I to share with our friends from out of town. The pool is amazing and it’s SO spacious and well stocked. The home is very comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. We also had the shuttle bus pick us up/drop us off with no issues. Fanny and Marley are so responsive and we’re such a help too leading up to the weekend. They informed us we can rent the adjacent house which we did for the guys to stay. There is a gate adjoining the property which made it even more spacious and great for everyone in the wedding party and out of town friends. Absolutely worth the price. We all enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much again for helping us make the weekend so memorable.

#### Husbands 50th Birthday

Our entire immediate family was able to come together and stay for the weekend for my husband’s birthday. We had an amazing time. The property and home is gorgeous, had something for everyone to do. We hired a private chef for dinner on Saturday. I absolutely love love, love the property and will definitely be coming back.

#### Perfect holiday getaway

I visited this property with a group of family and a few friends. The place was exactly what we imagined and exactly what we'd hoped for! The location was amazing as it was located right near golf and other activities. The hosts were very accommodating and very responsive. I have only good things to say!! Highly recommend.

#### Beautiful house and property!!!

This was our second time staying here, this time to gather friends and family for our wedding at Minerals Hotel. It was convenient and easy to check-in with very quick communication from the owners. The house is stunning and a great place to start and end the day, or just stay and relax all day by the pool. The house is clean and very accurate to the photos. We can’t wait to come back here and HIGHLY recommend!!!

#### Labor Day 2023 Getaway

Our adult children and two grandsons stayed here over the Labor Day weekend. The house is everything that was described in the listing. The only shortfall ( if I’m going to nitpick) is that there was only a single roll of paper towel for the whole weekend with a house full of 10 adults. Also some of the light switches didn’t work and very few were labeled so we were guessing what worked what.

A perfect recreational compound for family & friends! We loved the tennis court, swim spa & salt water pool! The home being located within the resort was a bonus for additional amenities such as the award winning spa, restaurant & gated security. We attended a private golf camp & then played on several spectacular golf courses in the local area. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

I recently stopped drinking so I wanted the VRBO to be the entertainment on my bachelorette weekend. This place did not disappoint. the house and land are beautiful there is so much to do and everyone was incredibly comfortable. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering booking. It was the best weekend.

#### Beautiful house but poor communication

The house was beautiful and everything we could have asked for in the property. It was exactly what was represented in the photos and perfect for 16 people. With that being said, the communications from the property management were inconsistent which detracted from our overall experience. Half the communications we received stated the check-in time was 3 pm, while half of them said it was 4 pm. We were staying in this house with a bunch of friends from out-of-town for our wedding weekend. We had communicated a 3 pm check-in time to our friends, but found out the day of that they would not be able to let us and our guests in before 4 pm. Our friends got there at 3 pm and were kept waiting, so would have been nice to have some flexibility here. Also, we had requested a one hour later check-out time than 10 am, which the manager agreed to. But then at 1030 am on the check-out day, the manager sends a text stating that check-out is 10:00am and that they are unable to accomodate a late departure; it was a bit of a downer on our wedding weekend and we feel like they could have been flexible considering our previous agreement on a one hour later checkout time. Just dissapointed with the inconsistency in communication. But overall, the property is amazing. We spend a lot of time at the pool and tennis courts and had 0 complaints.

#### The Perfect, Close, Get Away

What a wonderful Oasis. Our Family Enjoyed the beautiful property. It is so much nicer then the pictures can show. The property has a perfectly balanced and maintained salt water Pool and Jacuzzi, as well speakers with Sonos throughout the property for your enjoyment. The host was very responsive pleasant and helpful. I imagine we will be back for Seconds....
