The pros: The location of the home is great and is close (drive) to stores and Vernon. It was a good size for 6-8 people to stay overnight. The kitchen was a nice size and layout for preparing food for 10 people. Lots of seating for everyone, too. And the BBQ worked well. The cons: There are a couple of things that would've made it a nicer stay, related to cleanliness and maintenance of the home. The bed in the upstairs bedroom had a broken platform for the mattress, so the mattress sinks — not great, since you roll into the hole of the mattress all night. As for cleanliness, it's subpar -- the light fixtures were full of cobwebs and dust, and the cushions on the patio furniture had dog hair and dirt on them. Honestly not the cleanest house or outdoor areas but bedding and high use surfaces were clean. Communication with the host company was non existent until the few days before our stay even when questions were asked. But during our stay response was prompt. Close to everything in town (short drives).
