This former 18th-century farmhouse, carefully renovated, consists of three cottages, a games room with a terrace, and a large pool. It can accommodate up 20 guests + 1 bed drawer, providing a perfect setting for group stays that combine charm and authenticity with all modern comforts. The estate layout is designed to ensure privacy for each guest while encouraging shared moments together. The hamlet is secluded with no nearby neighbors, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay without worrying about disturbing anyone. We never rent the hamlet to separate groups; it is exclusively shared among family or friends. No hidden costs: bed linens, bath towels, and all utilities are included. For your comfort, you’ll also find numerous amenities, such as an XXL brazier barbecue, a fully equipped kitchen, a ping-pong table, two foosball tables, as well as a soccer field, volleyball/badminton court, and other games to enhance your relaxation time. Dogs are welcome: €25/stay/dog, which is fully donated to the abandoned animal shelter, SPA of Périgueux. The Hamlet is also equipped with fiber-optic internet, offering a fast and reliable connection and a Type 2 charging station for electric cars. To make the most of your stay, various services are available on request, such as a private chef, wine tour, massages, yoga classes, and babysitting. It consisted of 3 beautiful old gites of all sizes, a fantastic garden full of shaded areas and chairs and loungers, a wonderful, large swimming pool, a well equipped games room, and plenty of space for all the family well away from the rest of the world. There was so much for the family to do, that we spent most of our time here. However, we also enjoyed visiting Perigueux and having coffee in Vergt, as well as exploring local rivers and water parks. The separate cottages were charming and gave us each our own space. The outside space was amazing and we played plenty of games outside and inside the games room. The pool, fabulous. It was a slice of French heaven and we even organised for a local wine tasting in the garden of the property. It truly was beautiful and so lovely to have all that open space and no neighbours. Three generations of a big family – 14 of us in total. Such a lot of space and everything so easy and comfortable. The house is surrounded by acres of its own land and not at all overlooked or possible to disturb anyone else if you are a noisy family! Despite this it was so close to a big supermarket and a nice town with a market/boulangerie et cetera. Had several day trips out to other local towns and to swim in the river. The pool was huge and suitable for small and great, young and old due to the big narrow platforms. We vacation every year with a group of friends ranging from 13 to 18 people. In recent years, some children also go with us. This was by far the best vacation and that was mainly because of this top notch accommodation. There is everything from a large “game room,” a soccer field, tennis/full baseball field and a gigantic pool. You can sit in the sun and in the shade. The spaces are huge; both inside and outside. We were also received very hospitably and it was no problem at all that we arrived two hours early. The only downside: there were not enough wine glasses, but we bought and left them so there are plenty now. In other words, do not hesitate and book this accodomation. The three houses are very well equipped, comfortable and provide space and privacy but the communal dining and kitchen areas in the Red Gite allow for the entire group to eat and socialise together. The massive swimming pool is amazing and we spent many hours enjoying swimming and having fun there. The games room has plenty of activities to please all ages. The fact that we had the whole place to ourselves was a real plus. Our hosts were superb, discrete but always available to help. Communication with them was excellent, prompt and we were made to feel very welcome.We also had a special meal for our wedding anniversary prepared by Céline which was arranged through our hosts. The buildings have been beautifully converted to a small village with white shingle, beautiful flowers & shrubs, grape vines & fruit trees, seating nooks everywhere to enjoy the surroundings, plenty of chairs & sun beds. The Gites are perfectly spaced so that you can get away and have some alone time if needed, or gather in the main house or games room, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Perfect for our dogs, as they could run free without any worry.Sadly the fabulous pool is not heated, so we couldn’t use it often as it was just too cold, we had a few days of sunshine but also had rain. But it is the end of the season!Overall, we had a fabulous time at Nadalie, the owners Laure & her daughter Yseult were very attentive answering messages & sorting out any problems immediately, they very kindly gave my mum a gift for her birthday too.Whilst they do provide towels in the gites, they are a little tired and could do with replacing, a couple of big fluffy ones would be nice & make it a little more luxurious. Sep 4, 2018 #### Fantastic We have just stayed in a fantastic holiday property. The homes were large and well equipped. The pool was superb. The grounds vast. It was close enough to village life and far enough to be completely quiet. We have had a wonderful time. The children really enjoyed themselves, they made as much noise as they wanted and did not disturb the adults. The adults did not have to worry about the children and we all relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Laure and Norbert were wonderful hosts, they called several times and just stated that we should contact them if we needed anything. Schitterende plek en sfeervol ingerichte huizen. Wij verbleven hier met 14 vrienden een week in oktober. We hadden heel veel geluk met het weer en konden buiten eten, petanque spelen etc.Zwembad is ook getrotseerd ondanks dat deze niet verwarmd is.Het terrein is echt prachtig met genoeg stoelen, tafels en ligbedden voor een grote groep.De speelschuur is fantastisch voor een potje tafel- tennis of voetbal.Hoogtepunt is de Ofyr! This is a lovely property for large groups with three separate gites offering family privacy if needed.. However, there is also plenty of communal space for a big group to enjoy the pool, the garden and to eat together inside or outside. There is also a large games room which has lots of different options to keep you entertained. The gites are well equipped with everything you would need for a self catering holiday and we really liked the barbeque! This is a lovely rural location so a car is essential. The small town of Vergt is a few minutes drive away and has an Intermache and a few other shops and restaurants. The property is well located for visits further afield such as to the larger towns of Perigeux and Berergac. The hosts, Laure and Norbert were easy to contact, quick to respond and extremely helpful.
