Good location and affordable price for a good quality hotel. Easy check in and check out. The restaurant has daily Buffett with local dishes but also menu selection. Close to Boca del Rio main attractions.

Nice hotel in Veracruz
Good hotel. I have stayed there with my family several times and the experience is always good. I like that the place is in good condition, clean, well located, has a restaurant, and the personnel is helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Elvira was my housekeeper, and she was very sweet, very kind, attended to all my needs accordingly. She did an immaculate job in my room and just her overall cheerfulness. Very welcoming and very caring. Front lobby, gentlemen, named José, also was very nice, always very helpful and concerned for my needs. Dining area was very well staffed, staff was attentive and very courteous. I do not speak Spanish, and they did everything they could make me feel comfortable in the dining area. The lobby receptionists were always very happy and willing to help me in any way. I definitely will be coming back and I definitely will be telling others how wonderful my stay was.

basic room, restaurant OK basic, that's it.
When we arrived the pool was filthy green, it was cleaned after we complained but it started to turn green again after a few days, therefore we did not use the pool, that was frustrating. Avoid the bar as it lacks professional bartending, waiters take turns to attend the bar and they don't know what they are doing, the pina coladas we ordered made us sick with diarrhea for 2 days, which explains why we rarely saw guests in the bar. The gym lacks weights and weight machines are broken, only 2 treadmills worked. At the end the staff tried to scam us, I needed 2 taxis to go to the airport and the staff was charging us 240 pesos for each taxi, they insisted on the price, when I rejected their scam they left us practically stranded, I had to hire two taxis from the street each one charged 150 pesos. The safety box may not work, in one of the 2 rooms the safety box did not work. Hotel has potential to do much better but it lacks proper management, I am not going back, at the moment it was conveniently close to family, that's all.

pros: Location is great. a few blocks from the beach and local bars. Hotel is clean and staff is courteous. Only 20 minutes away from the Airport. Free valet parking. cons: beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Had to go to the front desk every day because room keys wouldn't work. Room had a safe that didn't work, apparently they were in the process of replacing them with new ones. Complimentary in-room coffee packs only offered for 1st night.
