You'll be close to vibrant downtown Ventura's nightlife and the historic Ventura Pier while within walking distance of restaurants. This vast single-story home has a luxurious interior with beautiful tile floors and tall ceilings that lend an airy feel. The bright open-concept great room has exposed beams and wall-to-wall windows. There's room for everyone to gather on a sectional and comfy armchair, and there's a 52' Apple TV with free cable and streaming channels. A striking gas fireplace sits between two sliding doors to the wraparound deck. Whip up delectable dishes in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, detailed with quartz countertops, a center island with a prep sink, and a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including an enormous double-door fridge and a gas range. The dining area has a stately, dark wooden table seating six on leather chairs and a bench. With windows on three sides, you can enjoy a great view of the backyard as you dine. After a day at the beach or strolling by the 1782 Ventura Mission on Main Street, unwind on the backyard patio under the shade of a mature Aleppo pine tree. The table for four is an ideal place for an alfresco dinner hot off the gas grill. The stunning primary suite boasts a cable TV, a picture window showcasing the gorgeous garden, and sliding glass door access to the deck. The en suite bathroom has an impressive walk-in spa shower with a circular Japanese-style tub overlooking the bamboo garden. You'll appreciate the heated floors as you get ready for bed. Drift off to sleep with the ocean as your peaceful soundtrack. WHAT’S NEARBY You'll find the beach just four houses down, and it's rarely crowded! Swim, surf, and walk to San Buenaventura State Beach for snacks, bait, or bicycle and beach equipment rentals. Take in the stunning coastal views from the nearby Ventura Pier, or take a short drive to Rincon Beach, a matchless surfing destination. The Ventura Marina and Harbor offers opportunities for whale watching tours or charters to the Channel Islands. Walk less than a half-mile to Seaward Ave's eateries, including many with outdoor dining. Or, drive about two miles to downtown Ventura to find an artistic culture, one-of-a-kind boutiques, and the lauded Rubicon Theatre. End your day with a fantastic sunset on one of California's infamous beaches. THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services are provided. Beach toys, two boogie boards, three beach chairs, an umbrella, and a shade canopy are available for guest use. The City of Ventura requires a minimum seven-night stay for all vacations from the second Friday in June until the last Friday in August. The house next door is currently under construction. Guests may experience construction-related noise during their stay. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Located just steps from the beach, the location couldn't be more perfect—our family loved taking daily strolls along the shore, popping by the nearby coffee shop, and exploring the local restaurants, and Rowan boutique. We also had an unforgettable bike ride along the scenic bike/walking path towards the pier (and beyond).The home's prime location made it easy to take day trips to nearby Ojai and Santa Barbara, adding even more to our experience. Everything about our stay was fantastic, from the welcoming atmosphere and amazing communication with our host, to the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The house was beautiful, and clearly has been newly renovated. The six of us fit comfortably and there was more than enough space to relax and unwind in the common areas. The kitchen is beautiful and spacious and we enjoyed cooking dinners and hanging out around the large island. The backyard and landscaping is beautiful and we also loved relaxing on the deck as well. The best thing about this house is the location - literally steps away from the beach. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning! The only negative comment I have is that the shower in one of the bathrooms was broken and couldn’t be used. I’d imagine this can easily be fixed for the next guest. With 3 full bathrooms, it wasn’t really an issue for us. ##### Rachel M. There are 3 beautiful bathrooms and 3 bedrooms so it was very spacious and comfortable for a couple and two single people. The location is a couple of properties from the sandy and rocky beach. Has all the bells and whistles for cooking and relaxing. (could use a hot tub!) Everything was immaculate and nothing had to be done. You can tell the owners take real pride in this lovely home.
