Wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. This is for minimalist travellers popping in and out for a few days stay. Great front desk people, very helpful. Easy, simple breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Area is fun/ university students and also families. 15 minute walk from Zattere ferry from Marco Polo airport.

The property is in a great location, especially for hopping on trains or buses for an excursion or to catch that early flight home, while being within talking distance of all attraction, and it is in a very nice area. The decor is Venetian which is to say pretty and traditional. While clean I felt it could do with the odd bit of paint here and there. We felt we had to keep windows closed to keep mosquitos out. The wall had many red splats where previous mosquitos had been splatted. This is an issue for Venice, no fault of the hotel. Breakfast was very good, staff generally helpful and pleasant, and of course their English was fine. Plenty of places to eat etc nearby, and in Venetian terms the pricing our stay was relatively good value.

Lovely hotel, great location. Really good breakfast. very helpful, obliging staff. Courtyard garden good for enjoying breakfast coffee. Single room a bit small, but that's not unusual. Good value.

Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great with a lot of self serve choices. Close to public water transportation. Close to restaurants and shopping. No drawers to unpack suitcases. Travellers tip: when you arrive in Venice buy a day pass for the public water transportation and you will have no problems getting around. Map out your route to the hotel. It is very easy to get lost.
