Venice is old but beautiful.
Venice is unlike any other city in the world. It was difficult for us to find Rialto House because their addresses are not helpful. We also had the wrong phone number, and because there is no front desk, we had a hard time contacting them to arrange for our arrival. Once we did, the young man who met us was very nice and allowed us to leave our luggage there early so we could participate in a tour before check in time. The room was fine and the bed was good. Almost all the buildings in Venice are old, so one can expect some problems with modern conveniences. The internet connection did not work. The hot water heater was not functioning, so we weren't able to take showers. I think they tried really hard to please us, but we Americans are so used to everything being so good that we are sometimes overly judgemental of places that don't live up to what we expect. Also, we were at the end of our vacation, so we were tired and not in the best of moods. Having to navigate in a country whose language we do not speak was challenging, to say the least.

Do not Book, Horrible place
The house was difficult to find as it is literally hidden and people confuse it with Rialto dream. The Host did not even know that we were coming and had his phone switched off. We got there and had no idea of how to get into the hotel, when we did contact him, his response was to come back after 3 hours. We did not meet him at all for the length of our stay. Finally he gave room different than what we had booked as he had given our room to someone else. The room was very dirty and dusty. Had a very bad experience

A lot of potential
location is perfect, ten minutes walking from rialto, there is a plaza close with rrstaurants that open until late. there is no check in desk o personal, u have to call them before you get to the hotel. Toiletries are not included, AC sucks, rooms are very big but nothing fancy. There is nobody at the building if you need something after check inn.

The refrigerator was not working and our room was not available when we checked in and not properly cleaned. Clean towels were hard to come by. The air conditioning was inadequate. The cleaning staff was helpful. The location was good. The management does not seem to be responsive to the needs of the guest.

We booked this apartment for one night, arriving in the afternoon. No one answered the door, or phone. We finally asked another apartment owner who happened to come home while we were at the door. they gave us the correct phone number of the owner, who said that the apartment was not available and Hotels.com should not have booked it. I called Hotels for a refund but again got a hold, transfer, sorry we cant help you response. Hotels.com assistance if anything goes wrong is non existent. Do not depend on them to help. Still no refund after three weeks and multiple contacts!

Scam?
I booked and paid this through hotels.com and then the Rialto House declined the booking and asked me to cancel. I demanded and was promised refund by the hotel, but no feedback up to now. Is this a scam?

Très décevant quant à la qualité d'accueil et les services réels : pas d'eau chaude pendant tout notre séjour de 3 nuits, frigos qui ne fonctionnent pas et draps incomplets et sales. Le propriétaire n'a pas cherché à être à la hauteur des services attendus, mentionnés dans l'annonce. Pas de discussion possible pour rétablir les problèmes. Il n'a cherché qu'à encaisser son argent. Nous ne le recommandons absolument pas.

Trés mauvais séjour, à bannir !!!
L’etat de l’espace déplorable ! Le papier peint qui se décolle sur les murs , pas de clefs pour fermer la chambre. PAS D’EAU CHAUDE !!! Pas propre; une seule prise de courant ! Pour accéder à la salle de bain un escalier abrupt ; il fallait rentrer courber dans cette salle de bain !!! Il restait même du linge sale sous le lit! !!! Pas de lampe de chevet un miroir félé !!!! J’ai beaucoup voyagé je pense que c’est le pire des hébergements que j’ai rencontré. Il exclure de votre liste cet établissement !!!!

Sconsigliato!!
Negativa. Non solo per trovare il posto abbiamo dovuto chiamare perché impossibile trovarlo... Ma quando siamo arrivati la nostra Camera era stata data ad altri perché non sapevano quando saremo arrivati... Consigliandoci una quadrupla al posto di una tripla in mansarda che non era per nulla comoda ad una famiglia con una bimba di due anni visto che era su due piani è il bagno al piano superiore accessibile solo da una scala in legno scomoda. Ci hanno spostato nuovamente in un altro luogo non in gestione loro a circa 2 km a piedi di cui il proprietario nemmeno li conosceva... Veramente da sconsigliare!!! E penso che se non avessi chiamato insistentemente al mio arrivo loro erano tranquilli perché avevano già i soldi in tasca.
