Look no further! Good for family with kids or couple retreat up to 6 people looking to spend an unforgettable time in the Venice and Sarasota area! You and your friends/family will feel at home at this charming one story , 3 bedroom/2 full bath beautifully appointed and newly renovated house located in the East Venice Community. House offers lots of things to be enjoyed: spacious and cozy living room, large outdoor are with heated pool , seating area overlooking heated pool , computer table and chair to work remotely if needed.

Host was very responsive. House was clean. Loved all the tv's with roku already loaded. Couldn't get the fan light on patio to work. May I suggest more lighting by the couch area. Thank you for letting us stay.

Fabulous house

From the time we walked in till the time we left we were treated to a well maintained and stocked home. The owners were incredible and communication quick and easy. The location was great for us. Close to the beach. Easy access to stores. We needed a travel crib and it was brought in within hours of the request. Highly recommended!

Nice House

Exactly as represented. Bathrooms are dated but the house was clean and comfortable. Nice, safe neighborhood and great location. Owner was very responsive to questions. One of the best things was each light switch was labeled so there was no trying to figure out what turned on what. It was too cold to use the pool but it was a very nice backyard!

THE SALT WATER POOL

Everything was great, but most loved was the salt water pool, as soon as you walk in the water feels soft & it's like your in your Epsom salt bath so nice & the fact that it had a heater also was nice, one day was high of 64 & breezy cool out but the pool was 84 so we went swimming... Host very nice & prompt with any questions... House stocked w anything you need... Close to everything.... Very nice stay... Ty for sharing your place...

Perfect stay

The house was exactly like the pictures. It had tons of storage space and the pool was an added plus. The hosts were fantastic. They promptly addressed any issue we had. The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood close to shopping, restaurants and not far from the gulf. We were so pleased and have booked again for next year.

The house was comfortable, well equipped, in a nice and quiet neighborhood, and close to all retail stores. The pool was heated, clean and very nice. The hosts were extremely responsive to any requests we had. I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a place to stay in the Venice area.

A good time in Venice

We had a wonderful time at this Venice property. The pictures showed it just as it was when we got there. Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the washer and dryer were very handy and we loved the clothesline in the garage, we used it a lot. The owner was very responsive. The pool was very clean when we got there. There was a little trouble later on in our stay with the pool but the owner again was very responsive. The beds were very comfortable, and there was enough seating in the living room that we could all sit down together. There was also a family room in the back with a TV that got used a lot. We felt very safe in this neighborhood, we took lots of walks and the neighbors were always friendly. The house is close to a Publix for groceries and there was also a dollar store nearby that came in handy. Downtown and the beach we’re easy to get to and we made several trips. We had a great time here and would definitely book again.

Don't complain even if something doesn't live up to its promise, and you'll be fine

I'm having a difficult time writing this review. The house is lovely, well-kept, and relatively new. Initially, communication with the host was fantastic; there were a few minor details that were easily resolved. We rented the place mostly for the pool, which I inquired about before completing the reservation, and was assured, that the pool is heated and swimming-ready. We arrived just in time for the cold wave. Despite the fact that I had asked, when we arrived, the pool was quite cold and unusable (outdoor temperature were still in 70s, pool under 70 degrees). We quickly contacted the host and were warned that in these temps (that night and for the next two days, temperatures at night were in the 40s), heating the pool would be a waste of energy and swimming would be harmful to our health. Ok? However, she said, if the temperatures rise, they will heat the pool. But that never came to pass. The pool remained below 70 degrees after two days in the upper 60s and low 70s. And next two days with temperatures in upper 70s. And the host explained that we don't understand how heaters function, and that this is normal. But that was not explained when I asked about it before we came. So I asked for a little price refund because we made it plain that we rented their home because of the pool, and that we could not use it seven out of ten days of our visit. And that's when she went off the deep end, mocking our intelligence and even fabricating a story about holding the reservation for us on a friend's request when she could get a better deal. I have no idea how she came up with that because we booked it through the VRBO platform and didn't speak to anyone except the host back when we inquired about the pool. When I brought this out, she told me not to approach her again since she wanted to have a calm new year’s celebration with friends... so we didn't contacted her again, didn't even dare to ask for fresh bed sheets :) (10 nights same sheets). So, while the house and pool are lovely, interacting with the host got progressively challenging, leaving us with mixed feelings.
