I was surprised on how long it took to get to this hotel from the train station, it took us 1 1/2 hours by boat. So when we left we had to catch a train at 6:30 in the morning so we had to get up and leave at 4:30 in the morning just so we could make it in time. If you are looking at being where all the action and fun is, I would not go here. The hotel was pretty nice though.

Great location near the main road on the Lido. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast basic but fine. Nice gesture of Prosecco in our room and free late check out. Good hotel, would recommend

Finally got to Venice - Our 2019 Xmas present
Booked 2 rooms - my husband and I had a king and our 2 grown up sons a twin. Rooms were of a good size and very comfortable. Could not fault cleanliness - daily maid service. If I had to fault anything it would only be that the shower cubicle in the twin was very small - walk in shower in king room. All areas of the hotel were spotless - bar area/breakfast area and reception. All staff were very friendly and helpful and reception staff fluent in several languages. The position of the hotel is great, just a short walk to the water bus/ferry and bus stops. We had the best of both worlds here as the hotel is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main road, but a very short walk to the beach and a water bus gets you to San Marco in about 10 minutes. All in all a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment - even fun getting lost in Venice most days, but you get to see so much more that way😁
