It is a bungalow!!! Very spacious and well kept. I was there with my wife and two grown up kids; 18 and 22. They all loved it. Its a walking distance from the canal stop. Upon checking in, the staff carried the heavy suitcases to the room. The outdoor sitting area is very pretty; do take out time to enjoy the breakfast in the court yard Very friendly and helpful staff

Perfect Venice hotel I would definitely love to stay here again. It was a bit of a splurge for a special occasion but totally totally worth it. It was great location and lovely to come back to for the free tea service between four and six and sit in the nice cool garden a treat in Venice everything about it was perfect. I felt like a filmstar in such beautiful surroundings. Brilliant breakfast choices, kind staff, quiet hotel but so near to all, book it now!!

I think the day desk agent’s name was Raja (from Pakistan) he was so kind and hospitable. He was so attentive, smiling, and ever so helpful in securing our taxi to the airport. Thank you! PS. hotel was lovely but please upgrade the matresses.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at, from the entryway to the room. Our room overlooked the lovely garden. Luca, the day manager, was extremely helpful. He helped us find the "real" Venice, where people lived, as opposed to the sections overran by tourists. It is close to the vapporetto and convenient. We will stay here again!

This was our first time staying at the Palazzo Abadessa and definitely not our last. The whole building from the grand architecture to the beautiful furnishings and paintings made our stay a truly memorable experience. The location is perfectly situated for easily visiting all the main attractions with Saint marks Square being only a ten minute walk away. However, this will take much longer while you wander the lanes and alleyways getting lost in a maze of shops, churches and beautiful plazas. Every member of staff at the hotel made us feel at home, they were very polite and friendly, warm and welcoming and nothing was too much to ask.
