Great Hotel in centre of Venice.
Lovely hotel. Rooms were very warm due to time of year. Good breakfast which surpassed expectations. Lovely location - close to San Marco Sq and not far from Accademia area. Really close to vaporetto stop (direct or airport). Friendly/helpful staff who are at desk 24hrs. Fresh towels every day. Lovely view along the canal from our room (34)if you can request it.

The hotel is in an excellent location,two minutes from St.Marks Square,but reasonably priced.Not that easy to find on arrival,take directions and it is no problem,once you have found it,you'll always find it.No lift,but I knew that,adequate breakfast.Easy check in and check out.

Clean, close to Piazza San Marco, with Gondoliers right outside, but out of the flood zone. Breakfast was decent, room was nice. The only thing I'd change is adding an elevator, but I live in a 4th floor walkup in NYC, so a 2nd floor walkup wasn't a problem.

Great location Service is great. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are very small. Air conditioning is controlled centrally, so in hot days the room is warm.

We enjoyed our stay.
Hotel is just 5 minutes to St Mark's and the water buses. Everything is nearby, including a gondola station just outside the front door, but the hotel is quiet at night. Breakfast wasn't overwhelming but they did make accommodations for my wife who has some dietary restrictions. The rooms weren't large but they were clean and comfortable. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Location was great, 5 minute walk from San Marco Water Bus stop. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was good. Our room overlooked the canal next to the hotel and was very scenic.Staff were great, especially James, who gave us very very good information, recommendations and advice on how best to enjoy the island. Good value for the money and I would stay there again.

Premium Location
Hotel is located next to Gondola station and within walking distance to the water bus station. Therefore it is very easy to get to the airport or central train station. Walking to San Marco square is less than 5 minutes. Walking to Realto bridge is only 10 minutes. The breakfast was really good.

When we travel we don't like to spend a lot of time lounging around a hotel. We want to go and see. I picked Lisbona because of the EXCELLENT location. I am so glad I did. It is a small hotel (only 15 rooms I think) with small rooms (think smaller than an inside cruise ship cabin) but darling, old Venetian decor and comfortable bed and air. The rooms overlook a side canal that is busy with singing gondaliers that parade by and make you feel like you are in a movie. The concierges we interacted with were so nice and helpful. One helped us determine the best transportation on Volgalonga Sunday and one had breakfast ready a half hour early so we could eat before we had to leave Venice early on our last day. The hotel is three minutes walk to St. Mark's Square and central to walk to nearly every cool site/museum/chiesa you could want to see. Don't forget to bring your power adapter if you are from the States. The water bus stop closest to the hotel is S. Maria del Giglio. If you use google maps to get to the hotel, don't plug in the hotel name, plug in Campo San Moise then, on the Calle Larga XXII Marzo side of the bridge (other side of bridge from the Chiesa), go toward hotel Violino D'Oro and go along the canal to the entrance. I loved this quaint, convenient, very Venetian, place to stay. Oh, and the breakfast really was quite good.

Nice stay in Hotel Lisbona
Conveniently located and steps away from main attractions makes Hotel Lisbona very appealing! You can see the gondolas going by from the canal view rooms. We asked for the first floor before we arrived. The ac worked well. The room and bathroom was small as expected but it was clean and hot water worked well.The breakfast was good and the concierge helpful. Overall had a great stay! Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Lisbona
Situation of Hotel Lisbona is fab, only 2min walk from St Marks Square, and less to the nearest Vaporetto. A great place to explore Venice from. High end shops nearby. Rooms a clean and tidy. The breakfast has lots of choice. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. Totally recommend this place.

The location is excellent!! A tiny balcony on a busy canal was wonderful!! The furnishings and linens were old and the A/C didn’t keep up... OK it was hot as hell but the view and experience were worth the downsides. James with the Hotel staff was great and very knowledgeable. We sat and drank wine in the lobby because it was too hot in the room and enjoyed a nice conversation with him.

We liked the location which was right off of the canal. Our room had several windows that opened up onto the canal so we could watch the gondolas. The bath tub was large and the room was fine. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Nightmare
I made a mistake and book a doble room and they meant two twin beds. I arrive at almost 2 am with 3 kids and the dont let me in. Only two kids could get on the room and I and my oldest had to spend the night on the street. I offer to paid extra so they let me accomodate just for the night and they said no. Thank God I find another hotel for the next night. But it was a really scary situation.

Very old hotel with very dated furnishings...friendly staff. Thin walls so a bit noisy. No elevator and all rooms are upstairs. Nice breakfast in am. Had a canal view..not sure it was worth the extra money.. better view of gondolas at breakfast for free!

The location was perfect Very close to Saint Marks Square. Hotel basic, very dark inside and very old style. Red cloth walls and red carpets. Our room was small had a juliet balcony overlooking the canal and gondolas Breakfast good. Continental. Overall for 2 nights for what we paid okay for us.

Arrived and was not offered any help with luggage. Hotel has no elevator and staff did not offer to help take the luggage up two flights of steep stairs to my room. The room was outdated and extremely small, even for a historic place like Venice. They also switched rooms on me. I had reserved a room with a view of the canal. Instead, I got a room with a view of the wall of the building next door.

Excellent location but the room was the smallest we have been in and that includes NY and Amsterdam! Its also very dated, a duvet would make some difference! The staff are great and breakfast was adequate.

Location of this hotel was great but otherwise nothing fancy. Room was sooo tiny and the AC didn’t really feel like it was working. The front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. We used this room as a place simply to rest our heads for a few hours so for that it was fine. Literally no frills at all.

Lovely hotel great location. No lift so not suitable if old or disabled. As a fire officer I was very concerned that there was no alternative means of escape from upper floors and all doors leading onto the single staircases had no self closing devices on any of them. Really had the Venetian feel in this hotel with the decor.

Great little hotel in a superb location
If you're looking for a centrally located but quiet, comfortable but reasonably priced, smart but not stuffy hotel in Venice, I can heartily recommend The Lisbona. We were traveling as a family and had two adjoining rooms behind a shared outer door, which gave the children just enough autonomy; we had a nice view out over the side canal and indeed down to the Grand Canal via our balcony; the gondolier station outside provided local colour but wasn't too noisy, the air conditioning was a boon in the summer heat, the breakfast was excellent. Can't praise it highly enough, would happily stay there again. Only 3 minutes walk from St. Mark's square, staff friendly and helpful.

Great hotel and very central
Fantastic hidden gem!! 2 mins from St Marks Square, next to gondola station and 2 mins walk from main water taxis and ferrys. Great price which included breakfast and canal view. We booked a superior room which was high up and looked over a canal leading to the Grand Canal. No noise unlesss you opened the window as double glazed. Fully reconditioned. Bedroom was fully equipped and quite large. We stayed on the third floor and yes it was a climb but no problem to us and we knew this before we booked. Lovely breakfast all staff and receptionist very friendly and made you feel welcome. It is a 3 star but I would give it 4. Highly recommended
