We found a buy in our bed and when I asked the front for a new room or at the very least new sheets it seemed like I was just inconveniencing her. After some back and forth we were given a new room, but the bug and exchange left a bad taste in our mouths. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We will not stay at this property again. The property is simply not a 4 Star by common standards. The phone in the room did not work and never got fixed, the bathtub massager made a strange noise, there was a 10 Euro fee to eat at the terrace with a view, the room itself did not have a view, water overflew out of the bathtub when showering. The staff were unenergized and unmotivated. The location is good.

Spacious, clean and comfortable room with big beds. Good service. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Lovely terrace area on the canal to sit and soak up the Venice experience with view of St Mark’s bell tower. Excellent location and short walk to all the main tourist attractions as well as the station. Good value.

Hotel is really well situated for exploring Venice, close to many restaurants. Next to a water bus stop which makes transfer from railway station very easy. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Unfortunately, the bar was not open throughout our 3 night stay and neither was the roof terrace. It would have been lovely to have been able to relax on the terrace with a drink after a day’s sightseeing but apparently it was closed for renovation.

I had a beautiful room…except: it smelled awful every time we came in. It smelled like backed up septic. I had to open the terrace doors (which were lovely)…except one had some broken glass. Also, again…the room was lovely with a great view…but several loose marble tiles in the grand bathroom. Nicole was very nice and helpful at the front desk. Cool key. :) The rooftop restaurant was closed which was disappointing since that was not mentioned.

Extremely disappointed. We paid for the suite canal view and they put us in the back room no view Told me they would refund the next day and now they are saying they don’t understand. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at the Foscari Palace but could suggest a couple of improvements. We never saw the bartender that was supposed to be there from 3pm to 8pm both days we were there. A little better signage or explanation on how to get there would also be helpful because it was difficult to find. Once there, the amenities and location are very good and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

We got the spacious room and we were happy with it. The receptionists were not welcoming, but we learned its normal in Italy!

Good location. Many hidden charges which were cash only did not issue us with a receipt and told us to use the atm which was also an additional charge. Stained bedsheets with human fluids, toilet flush not attached to wall properly and only one side working. Shower unit rusty in places, again not secured to the wall properly, bath with jets was not working. Terrace was closed but was not let know which was very disappointing as that was one of the selling points for us. Breakfast staff and cleaning staff were generally nice however reception could have been nicer. The sign for room cleaning was broken meaning our room got cleaned when we didn’t want it and had many belongings out as the sign had fallen to the floor. Breakfast was nice. Overall I would not call this a 4* hotel and we both left rather disappointed in the hotel.

The room was nice and clean! The bed was comfortable and big. I should mention that we got the spacious room. The receptionists were not much welcoming, but I think it is a cultural thing in Italy.

This property has BED BUGS. The front desk staff is NOT helpful or offer any/minimal assistance. I had a full body reaction from bites from the bed bugs and it ruined the remainder of the vacation. I would never recommend this property.
