The staff were very welcoming and very helpful with our day trip to Venice. Breakfast was cheap delicious. Overall, wonderful stay.

The hotel site says there's onsite parking for 13 and half euroes, but when we arrived they said no, we dont have on site parking!!!! We had to drive not too far, to a paking which was a bit confusing to find. The breakfast area (pay extra) was sooo crowded and no warm options. The poor lady there was working so hard to keep the over crowded place running!

There wasn’t sufficient lighting or ventilation in the bathroom. As well no good ventilation in the room. Staff need to be more customer centric and polite.

The sense of hospitality was lacking from the reciptionist (an old man) who was quite cold and seemed arrogant. Apart from that, it was all good. Breakfast was provided at 7 Euros extra per person.

Most people at the front desk don’t want to deal with you. Please don’t eat at the restaurant next door. Minimal breakfast options, you need to pay for it. Very noisy outside. Awful for sleeping.

The AC does NOT work properly, the shower flooded while I was there, you can hear everything. EVERYTHING. The staff was not too friendly. Finding a taxi was hard. It is far from Venice so you pay 23-35 euros per ride. Stay in Venice!

Okay stay at Mestre
This hotel is an okay type hotel in Mestre. The main advantage is its location. It is 1-2 min walk from the bus stop, and you can take a bus (7 or 7E) to come to Piazzale Roma. The rooms were very small, and a bit stuffy. The air condition did not work properly.

A basic hotel but everything you need. The staff are very helpful and friendly and everything is clean. Buses to Venice stop outside, trans nearby and Mestre Station walkable. Would stay here again

Venice is beautiful! Mestre area is quite urban!! The hotel itself… avoid if necessary!! First thing opening the door was a cockroach on the floor!! Window was open! Had to check the bedding which was immaculate clean! Bathroom ok, it was a small room but it was just for sleeping! Didn’t sleep at all as guests were in the corridor drunk and laughing hard at 3 am!! No wifi password was given and they don’t answer the phone! Gentleman on the first desk in the morning was ok, polite but didn’t let me have breakfast because kitchen was going to close in 12 mnts, someone walks in after me and he lets them in…. Its a cheap hotel, but some cheap hotels offer warmth and cozy hospitality! This was not it

We loved the hotel and the location. My only problem was my bathroom that clogged the water while showering. However, everything else was great. There are many places to eat around. The bus is right outside. There is a market and the location is super convenient. I greatly recommend it!

I would say the location is the best option to stay away from the crowd and touristy area. GREAT restaurant walking distance and close to transportation to both Venice and the airport.

Quite disappointed with our stay at Hotel Centrale. The room was okay upon arrival until we discovered a severe leak from the air conditioning vent. We informed staff of this leak in which we were told it would be amended the next day or we would be given a new room, leaving us to sleep in damp conditions with an active leak all night. Upon returning to the hotel after a day out, it appeared the leak had been fixed and floor cleaned but within an hour the leak was back and worse than ever, this time water was constantly pouring from ceiling opposed to dripping. We informed staff once again and this occasion the staff were no help at all, this led to a sleepless night due the heaviness and noise of the leak.

We had a great stat at the Hotel Centrale. The location was reslly convenient for us, as was the pricing. It is very easy to catch a bus to Venice from this hotel. €1.50 each way and it takes just 15 minutes. Don't waste money on the Venice hotels. This one will serve budget-conscious travellers more than well. It is very clean,well-heated, and close to shops and restaurants. I'd also like to mention that the staff is very friendly and helpful at this hotel. We had a problem with a broken suitcase and the receptionist on duty (unfortunately we didn't catch his name) went out of his way to help us. We will definitely come back next time we are in the Venice area.

Room was exactly as you would expect, small and gets the job done. quick to get into venice. definitely not fancy but small and comfortable. the best part of our stay honestly was Lorenzo at the desk. he was beyond helpful and kind, showing us exactly what to do to get venice done in a day.

personal are not welcoming, room has no rack or any hook for towels, no hook for toiletpaper, shower was flooding, no amenities. the food was bad.the only good thing was it’s in the city center.we had to take tram or bus to get to venice.
