Trudythank you for your comment and as I told you we always want our guests to be satisfied with their accommodation but we can't go against the regulations , at this time in the hotel switches from air conditioning to heating , it's a strange climate where one day it's 25 degrees and the next day 10. I put my staff at your disposal to find another hotel right away but you decided to stay with us and we were happy about that to try to meet her wish we provided 2 fans in the room .We are sorry that you missed a half-day in Venice and we missed the chance to offer it to another guest I and the staff wish you a nice trip back.

We assure you that we will check with the management the possibility of choosing some softer ones in the next future.With reference to the report of not having received a courtesy set for ironing your belongings, we have tried to explain, during your stay, that we do not have dedicated rooms verified by the fire brigade authorities for ironing clothes.The fire authorities are in fact the only ones who can authorise such authorization after a very attentive inspections and checks. Palazzo Marcello is a historical building and therefore it is subject to the fine arts superintendence, in Venice, for any changes in the use of the premises, which is why during your stay we suggested a laundry about ten - twenty metres from the hotel.The breakfast is Continental Buffet during your four-night stay it is clear that it will be repeated with the same offers but we will check if the bacon is as salty as described.The beauty of our location being on the canal can have its drawbacks such as boat trafficAll the staff and I extend our warmest wishes to you.

The building dates back to the 15th century and therefore the rooms offered do not have the same dimensions. As an historic palace, it is subject to strict rules of the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage of Venice for its modifications.We are sorry that the "Superior" room overlooking a quiet canal in Venice did not meet your expectations had we known about it we would have offered you a room overlooking our internal garden or we would have tried to assign you a room on the top floor to try to make your stay quieter and more comfortable.Our first aim is indeed to make the stay of our esteemed and kind guests as pleasant and enjoyable as possible.
