The Bella Onda was in 15 minutes walking distance of Marco Polo airport and the water taxi to Venice. A short section of the walk was in the road with no pavement which wasn’t great in the dark with a suitcase . The facilities were ok , bathroom with shower , a couple of sachets of shampoo. There was a vending machine in reception. There was no hot water when I tried the shower, but there was hot water from the sink . It was ok to stay for a short overnight stay and was cheap .

If there’s hot water that come out from the sink, it is impossible that you haven’t hot water from the shower. The staff are so lovely, and help with any questions we have. The rooms are lovely and clean, next to bus stop for travelling into Venice and close walk from the hotel. The ladies made sure we had a nice times and look after us well

Pros. Was ok near airport. Bus stop to main city nearby and cheap. Room was basic but passable. Very good Pizza & Kanab nearby. Cons. Long ways to city but bus 5 had regular service. Needed more bathroom supplies, no cable TV just local channels.

We chose this location as it was within walking distance to the airport as we had an early flight. It was a nice building. Our room was huge and very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean and perfect for catching an early morning flight. Restaurant across the road was quick and made excellent pizzas. Al Quadrante. You can walk to the airport (first 100 m has no pavement so be careful but after that fine)

We loved this property! We stayed in the main guest house with 3 single beds. The room had 2 rooms and was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a modern bathroom. The room had windows and a balcony with chairs. Beds were very comfy. Only gripe were the pillows, one per bed and were very thin and small. There’s a cafe across the road and bus stop is under 5 minute walk. Bus ride to Venice is under an hour as is the Mestre Train Station. Check-in was easy and host was adequately responsive via messaging. We would stay here again.

Great location. Walking distance from airport if you have simple luggage. About 10 minutes on foot. Only a short stretch without sidewalk. Great communication with owners. Give you access code to get to your room after you submit check-in information. We had a king and queen room. Plenty of space for four of us.

The room itself was perfectly adequate. (Warning to summer travelers: no AC, but windows open.) However: I chose to stay here because it advertised airport shuttle and breakfast... and it turns out that a) if you arrive after 7pm, there is no shuttle; b) they ask you to reserve a time for breakfast the evening before -- but 3 days ahead they tell me they "are fully booked" for breakfast, and to go east across the street; c) they dont offer shuttle back to the airport, only from it. So, got NONE of the things that I was looking for when I booked. At least the automatic checkin code worked. I never saw the staff in person.

Dear Gordon, we are sorry to read these words from you. In every room there is AC, that works only with all doors and windows closed. As is written on our site, our shuttle service is available only during the reception time from the airport to our guest house, not in the opposite direction. You arrived around 11 pm/midnight that is quite late. Your reservation was without breakfast included, and unfortunately we were fully booked that day. So we suggest you, the coffee shop in front of us. At least, we are sorry you never meet our staff but the reception is open only from 9am to 7pm. Perfect overnight stay for easy access to the airport for early morning flights. Would easily recommend. The local bus worked well from the Mestre train station to the guesthouse for 1.5€.

one night at Bella Onda
Spent one night before taking a flight from Marco Polo airport. The hotel is located 10 min walking distance from the airport but there are only partial sidewalks on the way. Hotel had no airport shuttle but gave me a taxi number that worked well. I had no direct interaction with staff all transactions were done via messaging but worked well. The room was very spacious but poorly designed. The tv did not work well and no tv channels could be seen well a lot of interference and poor display.

You booked a rate without breakfast. Our staff was there at 9:00 am and you could call us also by the bell. The rooms are pretty basic but absolutely fine for one night before catching an early flight. Everything was clean and modern and the staff member on the desk was very helpful. There is a bus stop very close by which can get you to/from Venice in 20 minutes for just €3, or, in the other direction, it can get you to the airport in 5 minutes for €10. The first bus was around 0450, which was perfect for a 0700 flight. The airport is walking distance from the guest house but the path didn't look very pedestrian friendly.

Overnight stay between cruise and flight home. Perfect location near airport. AC was awesome! Beds a little hard. Spotless and modern rooms.

It is very close to the Venice airport which you can walk on about 15 minutes. Restaurants were close by. Property was very secure. Staff were very helpful. I have no complaints with this property.
