I give this property 5 *****
I found the property to be a pleasant surprise and returned for an additional night, after my 24 Night Cruise. The staff was helpful and suggested a local restaurant for lunch or dinner. It was on the same street and just a short, pleasant walk from the property. Although the hotel is 300 years of age, it is very well kept and completely updated. They even provided me an adapter for the power outlet, having forgotten mine. Breakfast was Euro 6.00 and worth the cost. I highly recommend it to all who are seeking a location close to the airport. Shuttle service, Euro 10.00 is not always available but it was only Euro 14.00 by Taxi from the Airport.
Airport pickup is a bit tricky. They will pick you up or drop you off by the very visable water tower, which means, you will walk towards the tower, crossing 2 airport access roads forward of the bus area, and take a path along the parking area. You pickup will be at the curb of the road directly across the street from the tower. It is a very short walk and easy to accomplish, if you use these directions.
Tip: I packed all of my necessaries in my backpack. This worked well because the rooms are on the 2nd floor and no elevator. There is 24 hour desk clerk service and a convenient, out of the way location to store bags. The single flight of stairs were not a problem, with a sturdy hand rail.
