Ok stay but faraway and not so good breakfast
Imo expensive for what it is, breakfast wasn’t good (4 croissants, 3 bread rolls and some biscuits). Its far away from main attractions it doesn’t look like that on map but it’s a lot of walking and take longer because of crowds. It is in quiet place however if that’s your thing. Also mosquitoes were an issue, household left the window open after cleaning and it brought so many mosquitoes that we couldn’t sleep (spray was provided but we didn’t do it because of little children). Tv is better than most hotels it’s smart tv with Netflix already signed in which was nice touch. Overall avg stay i would say

It’s close to the train station and bus stop which made it easy to get into and out of Venice. The property was tricky to find at first

Great location, but tired accommodation
The hotel is in a great location, near to a buzzing, more local square rather than the touristy and over priced main squares. The hotel itself is ok, but a bit tired and could do with freshening up. The breakfast is below average, but is delivered to your door. No hot water one morning, which wasn't really their fault (fixed the same day), but the aircon never seemed to work and although all of the locals had their coats on, I'm British so September is still hot for me! The staff/owners were very nice though.

Loved my room, highly recommended hotel
The location is great. A walking distance from most important sites, but not too close to the crowded areas. The rooms I believe have been recently refurbished and the one I had (superior room with canal view) was perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful, I had a very pleasant stay.

Quaint hotel in Dorsoduro
This area is a little less touristy than the main area, but not far from it at all-best of both worlds. It is simple but very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating with requests. Has a safe and a mini-fridge, and AC. Would absolutely stay again!

Hotel Alla Corte Rossa
Hotel is hard to find as numbers in Venice are not in order. We arrived late at night and the owner who had tried to contact us, had already left. Hotel was closed and we could not get in. Our phone did not work to make a phone call, so we had to ask locals to call the owner to let us in by giving us the code to lock. Next morning we met the owner and his wife, very pleasant people, they had just taken over the hotel from previous owner and needed to do some repairs and improvements. Our room had a really high ceiling, and it was beautiful. We also had a safe in the room. We had a very small fridge in the room, but there was no mini bar nor breakfast. Staff were wonderful and helpful, pretty close to train station although we had too much luggage and we had to call for porter service for assistance, they charged us 20 Euros. Hotel facilities are adequate and it is very close to some stores and restaurants. Our third bed was a sofa bed really and not as comfortable as regular bed in the room. Room was pretty spacious and clean.

La mejor opción de Venecia
Una maravilla de hotel, es pequeñito y familiar pero el dueño es súper atento. Es viejo como todos los edificios de Venecia pero muy bien cuidado y muy limpio, con las máximas comodidades. El desayuno excelente, te lo suben a la habitación en una cesta, muy variado y buenísimo, un servicio de 5 Estrellas.

Nettes Hotel. Zentral und ruhig gelegen. Einfache Ausstattung, kein Aufzug. Frühstück sehr dürftig: Fast nur Süßkram, keine Wurst, kein Käse, kein Obst.

Das Zimmer mit Kanalblick war schön geräumig, Frühstück wurde ins Zimmer gebracht, ruhige Gegend. Zu Fuß ca 15 Minuten vom Bahnhof und 5 Minuten zum Campo Santa Margharita mit vielen Lokalen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Il manque de propreté. Les bureaux n’eta Pas laver à notre arrivée c’était collant. Le plancher aussi avait besoin d’un lavage. Le responsable est très sympathique. Le petit déjeuner est simple le café est bon mais pas de lait avec les céréales. Mais il est très bien situé.

Von außen kann man es nicht als Hotel erkennen, bestenfalls als Absteige. Von innen ging es für 1 Nacht. Es war sauber mit wenig Komfort. Das kleine Frühstück wird morgens im Korb mit Kaffee in Pappbechern vor die Tür geliefert. Der Tisch im Zimmer sehr sehr klein. Ein zweiter Besuch würde für uns nicht mehr in Frage kommen.
