Loved the location. Close to train station with good walk through roads to main areas (20 min walk). Had a canal view which was beautiful. Breakfast included great and on canal. Bathroom slighty dirty behind bidget which was kind of gross and blinds didn’t fully close for darkness

Property is near train station, restaurants and shopping area. Good staffing, make the arrangement to the airport quickly. The breakfast was excellent and the canal view is priceless. Only concern is shower cleaning. In overall a 4.5 to 5.

There is a lack of information on how to get there after landing. we were stuck in the Airport and had no information on how to get into the hotel. The hotel should send a primary email to all who book the hotel .

The pillows in the hotel room are the best I’ve ever slept on - way better than the standard pillows you get anywhere else. Perfect sized room for a single traveler, air conditioner worked great. The noise outside is not terrible if you shut all the windows and shutters, but otherwise it can be noisy if you do open them so be forewarned.

We stayed here for a few days before our cruise. It was convenient to the port and even though it was a little farther out from the main areas it was walkable to everything we wanted to see. Our room was very nice, overlooking the grand canal. We really appreciated the help from the porter that helped with our luggage and always spoke to us and gave us a smile.

This is an older European hotel. I had 2 rooms. The room I stayed in didn’t have working AC like the room my parents were in. The beds were small with only 1 pillow per guest aka 2 pillows that were not in good condition. The room I stayed in had a tub, which had the shower head placed in the middle and made it extremely hard to shower without water getting all over the place. Only 2 towels were provided with dish towels to use for your face. Overall it was an ok hotel but as I stayed at the Hilton a couple nights prior, I was accustomed to the Hilton’s accommodations. Hotel is located in a great central area, which made it great to get around. Lots of food options within the neighborhood.

This hotel is very good. The front desk staff introduced me some tours which are also very good. But the hotel does not allow escorts to come are not welcome. I am a single and need to the pretty girls for man"s desires. Also, the bathroom has a little smells. The hoursekeeker removed it but the next day it appears again.

This was our second stay at the Hotel. We love the location. It makes getting into and out of Venice easier. We also love the restaurants and shopping in the area. Its close to the Vaporetto boats too. We love the breakfast included. Its not cheap, its a fair price. Remember, its an older hotel in Venice, so its antique. Only thing that would be better is some updated cell charging. You have to unplug lights to get the plugs for cells or Ipad.

Great spot close to the train station, has a nice restaurant right on the canal and another option at the hotel next door. Lots of shopping right out the door, and over the bridge access to the city. Free breakfast is a plus. Would stay again!

Hotel Principal has all the old world charm you would want from a stay in Venice at a really affordable rate. The room we booked was spacious, had an awesome view of the canal and the air conditioning kept the room at a good temperature. It was in a fantastic location for going out and about with everything you would want at its doorstep. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The only negatives were that you had to go to a lobby area to get hot water if you wanted a cup of tea, the fridge in our room didn’t appear to work and some of the staff didn’t appear to be as friendly as others. Overall the experience was amazing and I would happily stay there again,
