"What a great little hotel! Room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious with a good shower and historic touches such as antique light switches and exposed beams in the ceiling. Location by main gate and cathedral was perfect. Loved having a balcony style window that opened, overlooking the little narrow street. A dinner restaurant of the same name (owned by the hotel?) was located across the street in a cute alcove and looked appealing, though we only tried the bar, which was great. Thanks for a nice vacation, Hotel Cansales."

"Hotel was very nice, older building but very well maintained. Our room was on the road side of the building and traffic noise was very loud. Ear plugs or possibly a back room would be better. Location and price are excellent. Room was clean and bed was comfortable."

"The room was large, clean and comfortable. The night front desk staff had no English but were welcoming on our late arrival. The property appears to have once been quite opulent. Sadly, it is run down with out of service pool (one week before Summer), unkempt grounds and large convention room with broken windows. "
