Arrived very wet after hours in a gale travelling from Bremerhaven by motorcycle, bar staff were great and knowledgeable about the beers he had, food was buffet style but good, staff were friendly. Didn’t see Kolding at all as weather was so bad. Good breakfast as well

Closed Pool and Restaurant
On check in, learned that both the restaurant and pool were closed. The 2 reasons we picked this hotel. No information prior to booking/arrival about this. Hotel refused any form of refund/compensation. Poor customer service. Room was fine and staff pleasant otherwise.

Nice hotel but no AC
+ Nice and clean hotel + Staff was very kind and helpful + Breakfast buffet was fresh and offered variations - No AC. There was a small table fan in the room that didn’t help in 36°C. We were sweating during the night.

Good with some concerns
The staff was excellent. The bar was very good and people were very nice. Bathroom was very small and the room was ok Was disappointed I had to walk very far from my room to use an iron and ironing board. This made it feel like a hostel The breakfast was fabulous

UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND HIDDEN FEES
I thought the room was a discount because I was booking very late in the day and I wanted to feel the hotel. I have fact is karma the hotel is under construction and they do not tell you this anywhere on hotels.com know when you check in, you find out when someone is staring in your window at 0730. Also the restaurant charges and mandatory 25% tip which they do not disclose until you get the bill, and that is not normal for Denmark. The room is nice but the bathroom is small and and outdated and you have to fight with a dispenser to get any toilet paper. Definitely not a 3 star experience

Clean hotel close to the city
Made a one night stop at this hotel, on my way to Germany. Not too far from the highway. Room was ok, bathroom is a bit old, but everything was clean. Breakfast was good. My room was in 1st floor, where some works were in progress but I was not disturbed by any noise. Had no time to test the amenities.

We did not know that the hotel was under construction. Luckily we were there the weekend so there was not a lot of noice but we would have liked it better if we had known this beforehand

Worst hotel I could have possibly booked since this time. Pro: Parking (even the fact you need to provide hotel with your personal infos like e-mail or phone number in order to be "free of charge" like mentioned into reservation - GDPR!). Cons: Everything else, starting with staff, continuing with asking for "authorisation sum" that was blocked from my debit card and not even today unblocked, mentioning reception staff that I don't prefer and like this for no reason or reasons stated like "If you want to buy something from us..." (No, I don't!), cleanliness, not stating that renovations may affect your stay, not so good bedding facilities, colder rooms, not enough infos about hotel facilities present in the room (wi-fi pass for example) and the list can continue. Not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Sorry! Not going to stay here again for sure

Big hotel, but tired, time for updating of bathrooms. Breakfast nice but staff did not recognise us at all, no good morning or anything. When we got in to the breakfast room there were service on quite a few tables finally when we were nearly done it was collected, cafeteria style on a tray. I would have expected a bit more professional waiter way in a 4 star hotel. Seeing hotel staff in suits and sneakers also seemed weird to me. Again maybe my expectations are a bit high for a 4 star hotel.
