The waters are calm, clear, and shallow, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and playing. There are some natural pools that form when sea water overtops the rock walls and provide a natural alternative for those afraid of the open waters. This is one of the best calm beaches within an hour of San Juan, and a favorite of locals. There’s plenty of parking and lots of vendors selling food, drink, and beach gear to visitors.
