Our stay was perfect! Quaint hotel near everything. The rooms are comfortable and the A/C is cold. The cafe / bar is great. Couldn't recommend enough. Merci!

The reception was very kind and the breakfast was very good. However the room did not look like anything on the pictures. The bed was not double. Very small room with the sink in the room. We will not recommend this hotel due to the room.

Sir, We are surprised by your comment regarding the night spent in room 39 of the Glacier. You have booked a Standard category room (the cheapest) and a full description of all our categories is published both on expedia and on our own website. It is clearly indicated that in this category, the bedding is 140x190cm and that the bedrooms are small (> 12 m2). At any time, you could choose a room corresponding to your expectations.

Great location, helpful staff, private parking. Our room #51 was a good size. The room did face the busy road. We could hear the traffic in the morning. There is a bar below and I’m sure it would add to the noise late at night in the warmer weather.

Although the room was clean, the shag carpet made it feel very dated. We enjoyed the nice touches, art on walls, bed seemed new and the bathroom was very clean, modern and efficient. Otherwise it was a decent stay. The owner was super helpful and very pleasant.

Great stopover on Via Rhôna for cyclists
Central location with safe storage for our bicycles. Friendly and efficient welcome. Beautifully renovated superior room on second floor with stone balcony, chairs and table. Excellent aircon and WiFi. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Good bakery next door for filled rolls.

Great location in centre of town with free parking right outside (although not on Thursday mornings when there is a market). We had a standard room which was pretty small really. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a bar/cafe which serves food and drinks into the evening.

Brief but pleasant stay in Orange
Inexpensive little hotel with parking in a great part of town. Room good but a little overcrowded with chairs and an extra bed. Nice stone wall and generally clean but some paint work needed wiping down, near handles etc. Overall I would stay again as it was good value for money.

Great value hotel
The hotel is in a good location and our room wasn't facing the street and was very quiet. The room was a little small which made it difficult to lay out our two suitcases. It was also a little warm at night and the air conditioning was able to cool the room but seemed like it might struggle during a hot summer night. The staff and hotel owners were delightful! All in all it's still a great value and good choice for a short stay in Orange.

Lovely friendly hotel in central Orange
Lovely friendly hotel with lots of parking nearby. Convenient for the Roman Theatre which is wonderful. The hotel has a bar with good snacks.

No place to stop for check in
No place to stop in front to check in. Had to park illegally in an intersection to check in. Front signage not good. Parking two blocks away in rain so had to leave luggage.

Sir, We sincerely thank you for choosing The Glacier *** for your night in Orange. Regarding your observation on the parking, our customers write regularly and unlike you to report that parking is very easy around us: Indeed, a public parking (fee) 150 places is located at the foot of the hotel, we have a small free private parking (4 places in the back) and 12 parking spaces or secure parking in our premises. I must admit that I have a little trouble understanding your parking difficulties. Have a nice stay in France and enjoy every moment,

Great location, Orange doesn't have too many hotels. It is a pleasant old hotel, old fashioned decor but bathroom seemed to be recently refurbished. Good breakfast.

Tiny rooms and even tinier bathrooms.
Small accomodations and average service. Overpriced breakfast bar. Nice location for walking around the city. Parking is free and close.

This hotel was a great find as we booked at the last minute while driving south. Our room was beautifully decorated, definitely not your average hotel. There was convenient parking in the street that was free overnight & restaurants close by.

A Gem!
We were surprised and delighted by Le Glacier. We were only planning to spend one night and move on to another city around the Rhone Valley or Provence but ended up staying 3 nights. We found the location to be central to wine tasting in Chateauneuf-de-Pape, Giondas and Vacqueras. There are some very good restaurants in Orange and the owners, Nathalie and Phillippe know which ones they are! We enjoyed their friendly hospitality and that we could walk around the town center easily.

The owners, Nathalie & Phillippe, were extremely gracious and had great dinner recommendations. The location is an ideal jumping off point for touring the Rhone Valley. We would stay there again.

Fine hotel in central Orange.
The hotel was centrally located in Orange, with a number of great shops and cafes nearby. The staff was very helpful, especially in getting a parking situation resolved. The room was small and of adequate cleanliness, but the area around the elevator had a persistent smell of bathroom.

Good hotel, with great location
The hotel was nice. It was very close to the sites and there was a nice market outside in the morning. Parking was across the street in a separate lot, which was ok. Don't arrive in town late though, absolutely nothing was open. We were directed to a restaurant that was no longer serving and were not able to get food.

Excellent Location
This is a great little hotel in the heart of the city, steps away from the sights. Nice decor, plentiful lighting which is often not found in hotel rooms. Comfortable and clean. The only negative was the shower ran cool. Good value in a nice city.

Ideal hotel for visit in Orange
I enjoyed staying at Le Glacier. This hotel has a very central location in Orange, just a few minutes walk from the Roman Theatre. There are lots of restaurants close by. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.

We have stayed several times and it is always a pleasure. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is well placed close to the autoroute and all the amenities of the attractive town.

A gem of a hotel
Easy to locate this gem of a hotel was a lovely surprise. Tardis like it has many rooms, ours was number 51 and appeared to be recently decorated. The bathroom looked new and was beautiful with a large shower. Breakfast was wonderful and at 7 Euros it was half the price of other hotels but far nicer. Orange was interesting with much to see

even though the design and the interior of the hotel is a bit old, it is small and comfortable. there were bathroom amenities and the towels were clean and thick (which is absolutely essential for me). Only a few minutes walk to the amphitheathre and I would strongly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Orange

Friendly, welcoming family hotel.
Wonderful hotel with heaps of personality. Staff welcoming and helpful, room size adequate and beds comfy. Hot water variable during our stay as was the wifi but that's just life sometimes. Rooms clean and well presented. Parking in public area conveniently right outside (at a cost). Breakfast fabulous. Dinner at La Grotte just up the road as recommended by the hotel was absolutely fantastic.
